"I really can not say how much of a fabulous choice staying at Customs House was to celebrate my mums 70th Birthday. Right from the beginning, the contact with Bloom Stays was easy, informative and friendly. The emails had all the information we needed or asked for. The house itself is perfectly situated on Standard Quay, just yards away from antique shops, Cafes, a Pub and beautiful views across Ham Farm. The house was perfectly equipped. We held an afternoon tea on one of the days and the kitchen had everything we needed and the communal area of the dining room and front room all flowed perfect for a social gathering. The rooms were well appointed, gorgeously comfy beds, with enough bathrooms for all. A separate snug front room served well for those wanting some peace and quiet from the main room. We really could not have wished for a better place to stay. I hope to book again in the future."

"Room was basic but clean. Staff helpful. Decent breakfast. Pool quite small and limited poolside chairs. Sauna room small. Jacuzzi was big and good pressure. Lakes restsurant had limited choice for vegetarian and no chicken or lamb dishes. Nothing nearby and the closest place to dine is Faversham. "

"Communication from host awful, does not respond to issues. Two beautiful fire places but unable to light as nothing left to light with! Dirty pots that had to be washed befire could use, thankfully i took my own roasting trays as the trays there were well past their sell by date! Not enough pots so need to take your own if wanting to cook. Towells too small. Cottage overall is nice but not recommended for tall people as ceilings very low."

"It was very cold in the hotel room, although I had set the temperature to be higher it was in vain. It was warmer in the corridor than in the room"
