Cocoon München Stachus

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cocoon. The location is close enough to Old Town to walk and enjoy oneself, but is a street over from a not so friendly street with some strip clubs and places alike. Not too bad however around the hotel, just something to be aware of if travelling with kids. One major plus was we arrived early, and rather than doing any early check in we were offered to drop our luggage off in a dedicated luggage storage room while we explored the town. Really nice! We stayed in a regular room, and it was clean however we struggled with the lights. The bathroom lights are motion sensor, so when someone inevitably has to get up at night to go, the lights turned on for around 5 minutes with no way to turn them off. Super annoying at 2am! The bed was comfortable, AC didn’t work, and the tv was useless."

"We had 2 rooms here for 2 nights during Oktoberfest and this hotel was within perfect walking distance. It's also a nice walking distance from the famous Marienplatz with lots of shopping and food. This hotel is on a very busy street with a lot of activity all hours of the day although it did not bother us. (Reminder that our stay was also during Oktoberfest, so it may not always be that busy.) The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, there was a nice variety for breakfast, the room was clean and comfortable. There is a parking garage close, which worked well. The rooms we were in both had all single beds, which was perfect for our mixed group. Overall, it worked well for us and I would stay here again."

"Our room was ok. It was clean and the bed was comfortable but the room was extremely small but the washroom was a good size. Also no english channels available on the tv and the air conditioning barely worked at all. The breakfast buffet was great though"
