"The hotel itself is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. The hotel offered exactly what I was looking for which was rest relaxation and enjoying nature. The staff was friendly and very courteous and attentive to all of my needs. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was 100% satisfactory, which it was. It was my 50th birthday and the fact that the staff all went out to wish me well on my special day and having the room set up as a surprise birthday was memorable and I truly appreciate everyone there. The food was good, but overall amazing amazing amazing"

"The location was tranquil, the room was fantastic and Danny, the owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The room is equipped with everything you need to feel at home, and in the morning I received a gorgeous breakfast basket which included local fruits, a bagel and freshly squeezed juice. "If you want peace and serenity, this is the spot! Amazing views, super quiet, nothing but sounds of nature! Our host Eric is a very friendly person and went out of his way for us and took us to a local waterfall that’s only know to the locals and we had an excellent day. "When we arrived Mauricio greeted us, helped us check in, and also upgraded our room to the second level for free. The room is super big and clean. There’s a balcony and from it you can see/hear monkeys, macaws, parrots, iguanas, and so many more animals. We were also able to get reservations to Corcovado National Park through the person at the reception desk. At the end of the trip we were also able to get reception to call us a taxi within 5 minutes of needing it. It was a lovely hotel with friendly staff too. "

"Our stay at Tranquilo Lodge was an absolute dream. Sebastien and Christophe are the most amazing hosts. Sebastien helped us plan out the best 4-5 day itenerary and was always around to help with anything we needed during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and maintained well and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. The serving staff Cristina and Alex were so friendly and attentive. The Chef cooked up amazing lunches and lovely 3-4 course dinners. My wife and I look forward to coming back to Drake Bay to visit everyone at Tranquilo Lodge again in the future !"

"Todo estuvo excelente! La comida deliciosa, la única recomendación sería que el desayuno fuera a las 6am o 7am, ya que al ser a las 8am, no permite salir tan temprano para hacer tours o ir a la playa. Sin embargo, mi familia y yo quedamos encantados del lugar, definitivamente volveremos. "
