"One star for overall experience. It could be 0 if it weren’t for the staff We stayed in the North Pointe Tower and it felt like a forgotten time capsule. Elevator out of service, broken TV that never got fixed, missing tiles, torn canopy, and cleanliness that felt optional. I can understand old and outdated, but dirty is a choice. Walking the property was eerie. There are restaurant spaces that look completely abandoned, dark and empty in a sad, unsettling way. Exposed cables, worn surfaces, and overall disrepair make it feel like no one is maintaining this place. The only redeeming part is the waterpark. That’s where things feel alive, and the staff at Slim Pickins were great. Even then, the bathrooms could use renovation. Shoutout to Aggie at the lobby bar and Dick at the bell desk, both fantastic. But overall, this property should not be open in this condition. Renovations are understandable. Neglect is not. Pick another place!"

"Beware you get charged $39 per day just to use the ‘amenities’ such as the walking trail. I don’t recall this being disclosed when I booked. My room was also not available despite me reserving it weeks in advance. They put me in a different room that had a pullout bed, not an actual bed for my guest. The staff were great just disappointed in my overall experience."

"Room was ok but prettybaaic. Room wasnot very large and there was no place that put luggage. The shocking thing upon checkout was being told we were assessed a $39 "Rise Experience" fee! For what??? "

"Horrible Service. Called front desk repeatedly, no one ever answered. Arrived at hotel around 3AM, to find out, the hotel doesnt allow check-ins after 12AM. Never talked to anyone. Had to book another stay somewhere else for the weekend."

"Instructions for getting to unit were extrememly confusing. Beds were comfortable but the room is too small for two beds which made it very awkward and difficult for 3 people. Bathroom fan needs cleaned. Unable to send pic of key fob in lock box via communication path offered. Stay was pleasant but would not use again for three people"
