I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. It's a great place to stay with lots of room and pleasant staff and it's quiet and clean and seems safe enough. But if you want lots of choices to order out or go out to eat, there is not much choice at all, and there's not much in the way of shopping or anything other than a great Wawa gas station nearby and a few diners.

We were greeted wonderfully by the manager. He was very helpful with places to go for lunch in the area & how to get there. The most pleasant ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms were great! Very clean & comfortable. Only problem experienced was the guests above us knocking around & playing their tv loud well after 10 p.m.

Great Stay Overall!

My experience at Valley Extended Stay (VES) was amazing. Most hotels or rental properties have check in times around 3 or 4pm, but VES allows you to check in at 1pm, which is great if you need a place to put your things earlier than the typical check in times. The front office staff were all very friendly, the cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and they even stocked utensils and plates! I was very satisfied with my stay there, and will definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area.

A gem in the Shenandoah Valley

Clean, comfortable, spacious. A pleasure to stay here. Those with limited mobility should request a ground-floor suite, as we did not see any elevators on premises.

Short stay outside of Charlottesville

Very clean rooms and well kept exterior. Limited supplies in the kitchen and no bedding for the futon bed in the living room. Had to wait 20 minutes for the staff to return to the front desk so we could check in.
