"The hotel was ok for what we needed as a family of 4! It was in a good location geographically for getting around to both the East Fjords and all the way to Diamond Beach area. The location of the hotel is quite a way to the nearest proper supermarket so if you need things like that plan ahead!! On the whole though the hotel was pleasant and served exactly what was required"

"Very nice hotel to stay in. Comfy beds, breakfast buffet and the common area with microwave was super good. The girls at reception were very sweet and friendly. The room was spotless clean and the cliff and water views from the big window was spectacular and so calming and relaxing. We love our stay and 100% recommend this place"

"Lovely place for the three of us. Nice sauna and hot tub. TV did not work but we did not have time to watch much anyway. Stairs to the beds are very steep and takes a bit to get used to."

"The staff was very helpful with e-mailing me ahead of time so I knew it was a long drive on a gravel road and there was no food available in the area. What I wasn't prepared for was the steep climb up a one lane road and back down. My little rental car did do just fine and then at the end wow what a view! The area was breathtaking. Im so glad I made the drive to experience this magical place."

"I loved staying at Taergesen Guesthouse. It was a beautiful view. Clean and quiet. Honestly, it was one of my favorite places in all of Iceland. Really felt so authentic and sweet."
