One of our larger cottages, Moonriver, namesake…Debra`s favorite Audrey Hepburn film-Breakfast At Tiffany`s . Enjoy the large tin roof covered by a canopy of hardwoods. Cottage was built with handpicked & aged woods including red oak flooring thru-out. Full kitchen with granite counter, comfy living area w/ cedar ceiling, oak staircase to loft BR with King Bed. Catwalk from the bed to scenic views. Full bathroom. Outdoor seating & grill. Access to Lake Palestine. Hot tub on property!

The Tinyhouse Cabin is perfect for romantic getaways. What makes it unique is the compact luxury/roughness. Come see to understand. It is ideal for couples, but can accommodate a small family. It is a small space for more than 2 adults. Due to the nature of our construction and owner having severe skin allergies we have a strict no pet policy! We do all the laundry an cleaning ourselves and CANNOT accommodate animals of any kind. Please respect our health and do not ask for exceptions.
Cable TV and ground internet are not available here in the woods. We do have limited Jet pack Wi-Fi for use as a hot spot.

New little fishing dock with access to Lake Palestine for all our cabin guests, great spot to watch the sunset or the passing boats:) It is a walk to the lake access spots, but we have trail markers along the way!
Hot Tub on property and within walking distance to the cabin.

Trails to Lake Palestine, it is a natural shoreline, no beach area and swimming and fishing are at your own risk. We have a couple of natural ponds on the property and an Artesian Outdoor Cold Bath for a refreshing 70 degree col water soak! Guests are welcome to explore the pond area, get in the cold water outdoor bath , but we ask that you do not fish from the ponds at this time, we are still developing this area!
The shared hot tub is for use by all of our adult guests.
Disc Golf Course on the property for all guests to enjoy. Somewhat difficult course and found on UDisc at lakecabinescape in Flint, TX . Bring your own Disc!
Our cabins are built for exploring the outdoors, not the best place for indoor movie watchers:) limited internet availability
So come sit on the front porch and enjoy the view or build a campfire and enjoy the stars!!

We live nearby and are usually available if needed, but we respect the privacy of our guests. We have 5 cabins on the same property, you will share the grounds, hot tub. and lake access, but each one has its own private space! The firepit and outside seating is private and surrounded by woods! Great spot to listen to night creatures by the camp fire or song birds during the day!

We are in the woods and near Lake Palestine within walking distance to a natural shoreline (no beach area). there is a Brookshires grocery and few fast foods about 2 miles away. City of Tyler is about a 20 minute drive with plenty of shopping, restaurants & entertainment. City of Tyler has plenty to do and see. There are several cute rural towns nearby with some local wineries and antique shopping to explore also!

PLEASE use only the designated drive for your cabin for the SAFETY and privacy of each guest on our property! Feel free to explore the lake shoreline and woods around the property:) Tyler is 15 mins away!
Swim or fish the shoreline or from the fishing dock! Please note it is a walk down to the lake on a narrow foot trail.

We are in the woods and there are all types of insects, poison Ivy, and the usual critters such as snakes, deer, rabbits, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, roadrunners, etc....please be aware when exploring or leaving things outside. We also have Bald Eagles most often seen in the Fall and Winter. Owner has severe skin allergies and does all the cleaning and laundry. We have a strict no pet policy and cannot accommodate animals of any kind, please do not ask for exceptions. Chiggers are out after May 15, it is best to use insect repellent when out exploring!

We’re excited to host you! Please take a moment to review our house rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

About the Space:
Our cozy cabin is ideal for couples or small families. Due to its size and layout, we recommend our property for guests twenty two years and older.

Safety First:

This Cabin includes a private hot tub for your exclusive use. Please follow all Hot Tub rules and see Hot Tub sheet in the notebook.

Use caution when moving around the cabin, especially on stairs and the loft ladder.

The loft is steep and not safe for young children.

Be mindful while exploring the trails and lake areas, Use life vests when entering the lake access places. Swim & fish at your own risk.

Shared & Private Spaces:

The LARGER hot tub, trails, and lake areas are shared among the cabins. Three other cabins share the central Hot Tub. All cabins share the Lake access, fishing spots. pond areas, Cold Plunge and disc golf course. Please be courteous of other guests at all times.

The grill and fire pit are private to each cabin.

Do not place the grill on the porch, and never leave a fire unattended.

Guest Conduct:

No smoking, parties, or unregistered guests allowed, even for day use. Please ask if you are having visitors.

Each hot tub is for adults only.

Pet Policy:
Due to the nature of our construction and the owner`s severe skin allergies, we cannot allow any animals—no exceptions. We personally handle most of the cleaning and laundry, so thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.
