Great to get an early check-in, welcoming host and full of information about the history of the building and the area. And lovely room and bathroom. And luggage could be stored there for a while after checkout. Great all round.

The staff was exceptionally dedicated to service. I travelled with family and had accidentally booked the wrong room for one of my family members. The woman at the desk was very understanding and went above and beyond in accommodating a room change. I would very higher recommend this hotel!

Wonderful, historic hotel. Beautiful room with a great street view. Very clean. Highly recommended. The only negative is that you have to drag your luggage up one set of stairs. Luckily they are low so it makes it easier. Definitely worth the stay at a hotel built in the year 1000. I hope to stay again.

Hotel Renaissance is a hidden gem in the center of Florence off the Piazza della Signoria. Its location is perfect, easy to get to from the train station, and the staff is fantastic. We will be staying there again on our next visit to Florence.
