Eloni at the desk , Lucia in breakfast area and the housekeeper who took care of my room were amazing and welcoming. Eloni helped with my charger problem and gave me recommendations for places to go. Lucia took great care of me at breakfast , she missed her calling and would make an amazing life coach !
The staff are very friendly. And we really enjoyed the terrace—such beautiful views from there. The breakfast has a good variety of options. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who travels to Florence.
The staff were super nice, friendly, and very helpful, and the hotel's location was excellent. However, the property is in need of serious maintenance and a thorough cleaning. The rooms themselves were acceptable, but the overall condition of the hotel could be much better. I would still recommend staying here, but with some reservations.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the rooftop was great. You could have thrown a rock and hit the Duomo.
Positives: clean room, very friendly and helpful reception staff. Ideal central location, beautiful roof terrace overlooking the Cathedral!
Negatives: bar was not open, terrace shuts at 9:25, we were enjoying the views, sunset with our own drinks, it would have been nicer to open up later.
Breakfast could have a little more choice, but was adequate.
Overall: I would stay here again.
Lovely place! Best views of Florence, amazing staff! It served its purpose. Perfect if you’re not looking for over the top fancy but super cutesy! Traveled with my friend and enjoyed the roof top so much! Lorenzo, and Lucia were super helpful! Will be back!
Amazing staff! Super kind and helpful. Only issue was the elevator didn’t work and they were on the top floor. Other than that, they had a beautiful view in the room and on the rooftop. They offered free drinks for the inconveniences but staff was very nice and that made us okay to stay even though we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs.
We stayed for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay overall. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bedsheets were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic with great nearby attractions. However, there were a couple of inconveniences. Because the two hotels share the same building, checking in was a bit confusing, and the elevator was unfortunately broken. Having to climb up to the 3rd floor to check in was a little difficult. The management was very accommodating and gave us a complimentary breakfast buffet to make up for the inconvenience.

Room was very clean, staff were very nice and location was excellent for seeing Florence
I had the best stay at Hotel Villani. Staff was incredible and so helpful! Good breakfast and great location. The bed, room size, shower, etc was amazing. Hoping to get to stay again here soon.
Great location! Right down the side street from the Duomo. Be sure to book by the number of PEOPLE in your room, not the number of rooms you want. Lesson learned! The rooftop is amazing!
They are supposed to be getting a new elevator, currently only one person with luggage can go up at a time. The bar on the rooftop is unfortunately closed but the rooftop itself is open. No English channels on the TV but the room is very quiet. Location location being 1 block from the Duomo makes up for a lot of things in an old hotel. The wine bar right next door was great as well as seasons restaurant a half block away. Overall I give it more positives than negatives.

The rooftop view makes it worth it. But the “queen bed” was really two twin beds smushed together that constantly slid apart.
Breakfast was good, room was clean and view was incredible. Shower pressure was spotty and temperatur hard to control. Room was HOT, left window open all night and that was enough to stay cool.

The location of this property is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was nice. Our bedroom was a good size, although the bathroom was a little small (particularly the shower). Not a problem for us, but a larger sized person will want to think about this.
This property is on the fourth floor of a building and unfortunately while we were there, the elevator was out of service. The staff carried luggage up and down the stairs, but we still walked down and up the stairs a few times each day. Also, the terrace and bar were closed while the elevator was being repaired.
