What a great location! Right next to the Duomo and the rooftop bar with the view was such a great plus! Staff super friendly. Is an older hotel but lots of charm. Can’t beat the location.

The way from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station was easy (about 10 minute walk), and it’s so close to Duomo. Yet it was very quiet since the hotel is one alley off from it. We could have an early start to sightsee everything right by the hotel to beat the crowd, and it was worth a lot :)

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Villani! Lucia and team were wonderful and welcoming, breakfast was delicious with a lot of options, and the rooftop terrace was really the cherry on top. The only bummers were that the one night we wanted to enjoy the terrace, it was closed early, and that our bed was actually two twins pushed together, not a truly queen/king sized bed. This made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Loved our stay here! Went with my husband and we stayed 4 nights. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The hotel was a bit old but the location made up for it 100%. We were steps away from the duomo. The rooftop was small but admiring the view of the city and of the majestic duomo was everything to us. Overall, 10/10! Will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was very clean and was taken care of every day. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, with a beautiful view of the church, and everything is within easy reach. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we truly felt at home. A big thank you to our lovely hosts for their hospitality and kindness. We hope to have the opportunity to come back again in the future ,we would return with great pleasure! Thank you once again for making our stay so special! ❤️

We enjoyed our stay. This is a basic hotel with all you need for a stay in Florence. The highlight is their rooftop bar which gives amazing views of the Duomo and other significant buildings. The drinks were great too!! We also liked the simple all you need to start a big day in Florence complimentary breakfast! It’s so well located we will make this our stay every time we visit Florence. The staff were super helpful too!

Eloni at the desk , Lucia in breakfast area and the housekeeper who took care of my room were amazing and welcoming. Eloni helped with my charger problem and gave me recommendations for places to go. Lucia took great care of me at breakfast , she missed her calling and would make an amazing life coach !

The staff were super nice, friendly, and very helpful, and the hotel's location was excellent. However, the property is in need of serious maintenance and a thorough cleaning. The rooms themselves were acceptable, but the overall condition of the hotel could be much better. I would still recommend staying here, but with some reservations.

The hotel was in a great location - most tours were within a 10-15 minute walk - the only tour that was a longer walk was our bus tour of Tuscany that started at 8:AM near the train station - we took a cab to be safe. The hotel staff was great - very helpful with anything we needed - always pleasant to talk with. I cannot stress how helpful they were - one morning on our way out of the hotel we chose to ride the elevator down the 4 floors to the street - the elevator stopped between floors where we were stuck - we used the emergency call button to call for help which did get a response, but the hotel staff stayed outside the elevator making sure we were OK until the elevator company arrived to get us out - while you would expect the staff to make sure we were OK the night shift staff stayed over until we were safely out of the elevator - above and beyond in our opinion. The roof top bar was also a great experience for night viewing of the Duomo and skyline While the hotel isn’t a 5 star hotel - I give it a 5 and already know where we will be staying on our next trip to Florence .
