Great room, great location and view, amazing staff, included a breakfast and the staff would make you a variety of coffee types. Only negative would be lack of elevator (only an issue for the first trip up and down with luggage)

The room is exceptional. Comfortable bed and heat to have a coffee machine in the room. Free beverages in mini bar which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was superb. Only bad thing is no elevator not good for kids or elderly. Noise is really bad when it’s nighttime and early morning as the leather market is right outside below the windows. Excellent

Nice room for one or two people. A/c was great! Nice view of market and street area. The person on staff was super helpful. Continental breakfast was adequate start to the day. Allows leaving bags before checking in and after checking out. You will have to walk in from a block or two away due to busy market in the streets during the day

Well appointed rooms with good amenities and excellent breakfast! Friendly, helpful staff. Good location for access to transport options, sights and shopping but be prepared for the noise of the market packing up each night and then setting up in the morning..overall though a great option for a well priced stay in Florence.

It took us a bit to find the unit but once we did we really like the location! Unit was clean and centrally located. Il Mercato centrale was right across the street! It got a bit loud in the mornings when the leather carts were setting in for the day but besides that we absolutely enjoyed our stay!

This was not a real hotel, but a room in a former apartment. It’s also far from the ponte vecchio, their profile pic. Despite the dirty hallway with trash in it and the unpleasant central market location, the place itself was clean and cute.

This place surpassed all my expectations. The staff go above and beyond. There are complementary kits in the bathroom and a fully stocked mini bar. The breakfast is continental and easy. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in the Blu room. Everything was great, Bruscha (I think is her name) was wonderful. She took care of the check-in, cleaning and breakfast. Place was clean and very close to all the attractions, we walked everywhere. Breakfast was sufficient, a couple cold cuts, boiled egg, assorted pastries and bread and coffee to order. The mini fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks. Only con was that the AC kept cutting out at night, but I think it’s an Italy thing because it happened with our other hotels. Temperature wise, it was cool enough in October that we can open the window and be fine. The downside was that the market is right outside and was very noisy throughout the night (with the window open). We would be back!

Central Florence Gen

Very easy and convenient location. Host was very accommodating and let us check in early. Breakfast was more than expected with a variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, fruit and cereal. I may have misread only 4 stairs to the hotel, but it was 4 stories of stairs. A difficulty for my husband. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and bath supplies plentiful. Very nice and they let us leave our luggage after checkout to retrieve later. I recommend Hotel Il Mercato Centrale… part of the marketplace and next to Pinocchio Restaurant… a favorite of ours.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! They really thought of everything — not just shampoo and shower gel, but also toothbrushes, toothpaste, little chocolates, and a few free drinks in the minibar. When I checked in, the AC was already on — such a small thing, but it makes a big difference and was so appreciated. Staff also helped me find ideal parking for my large car, and earplugs were provided since the street can get a bit noisy at night. Breakfast had a nice variety: pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, and juices. And the location is perfect — everything is within a 15-minute walk. It’s not just a room, it’s an experience. Highly recommend!

Great apartment right next to the central market. You would think it would be loud but, all the vendors go away every evening and it gets very quiet. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was well put together and there was a free breakfast every morning. We walked all over Florence and enjoyed coming back to our nice comfortable room.
