Our Florence Base: A Charming Boutique HotelWe used Florence as our primary hub, staying in a lovely boutique hotel situated a convenient ten-minute walk from the city center. The property directly overlooked a peaceful park, providing a nice escape from the crowds. The Room: Located on the ground floor, our room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. Housekeeping serviced the room daily, and we highly appreciated the amenities, which included a kettle, a coffee machine, and an exceptionally high-quality hairdryer. The only minor drawback to the ground-floor location was occasional late-night traffic noise.Breakfast & Service: The morning breakfast offered an excellent variety, and the staff members throughout the hotel were incredibly warm and accommodating.

While my wife and I enjoyed our stay there were a few maintenance issues we had to bring to their attention. The most discouraging was when part of the shower fell off and smashed my big toe resulting in some discomfort and a nasty bruise. When I reached out to management I got no response and that was disappointing. The breakfast is excellent and we enjoyed the location.

The hotel was within walking distance from train T2 from airport. Get off at Lavagnini Fortezza. NOT Fortezza! Turn left off train and left at lights. Follow gps from there. The front desk were extremely helpful in directions. Took bus 6B to Ponte Vecchio bridge area. Its stop is about 100 feet away. Very easy. There's a fantastic pizza place straight ahead of hotel just past the lights called Osteria. Took 3 minutes to walk there. Beautiful garden in back and fantastic food and extensive menu. Prices were good. The hotel was clean, comfortable and good location. Walked to Duomo and market in about 20 minutes. The breakfast buffet was included and had a good variety. Fruit, yogurt, cheese, toast, pastries, bacon, eggs, coffee, juice, and more. The room had a small fridge, clothes steamer, kettle and coffee maker. There was a hair blower, shampoo and body wash. The TV had a variety of channels. We found English channels in 5000 area.i would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making our stay perfect!
