"Did not use any facilities. Property does need some repairs and maintenance. Front desk has limited opening hours. Room cleaned daily but room supplies not replenished. Good location though. Manatees and dolphin seem from walkway outside room. Close to main road on one side. Cannot leave curtains or door open if privacy is an issue as walkways on both sides and anyone passing on each side can see into the room. "

"The home was very accommodating for 10 adults. We all had plenty of room and fantastic sleeping arrangements. The balcony was the perfect place to have coffee and watch the sunrise. The pool was a little warm during the day for our liking but in the evening it was nice to relax in once the air temps cooled down a bit. Overall it was an amazing property in a very convenient area and we would enjoy staying here again next year!"

"We were happy with our stay in the Manatee. We were celebrating a 50th birthday on a girls' trip and it was the perfect place for it. It's in a great location, and listening to the water lapping beneath us as we slept was lovely. We spent time enjoying the sun on the rooftop. Our only complaint (and definitely not your fault) was that we were there during the cold snap and there were no extra blankets. We went out and bought blankets so we could sleep at night in the unseasonably cold weather. I just suggest that you have some blankets for use during chillier times. There is no heat on the houseboat (I'm sure it would be seldom used). My other suggestion would be that you post a couple of things in the bathroom. First, there were five of us there and only one could shower (and a short one) at a time. If we waited 45 minutes or so, another could shower. Maybe if you had signage that indicated that. We supplemented by going to the shower by the pool. (Not convenient.) Second, post that no hairdryers or curling tools may be used on the houseboat. The info is in the check-in information, but I'm sure could be easily overlooked upon arriving. Overall, we had a delightful stay :). "

"Everything was new, which was a plus, coffee maker was great, took awhile to figure the how the stove top worked and had some problems with the front door opening (probably the deadbolt receptacle needs to adjusted) but the host help straighten things out, so not a deal breaker, communication was very good. Probably would be a good idea to provide instructions on the stovetop, door issues and how the TV works, which was not user friendly to us anyhow. As a place to stay very clean and modern, highly recommended. Only downside is there is no where to sit outside directly, the front door faces a parking lot, you could sit outside if you go around the adjacent Pizza Restaurant, but not really practical from the apartment. Pizza Restaurant adjacent is fine, doesn't really affect the apartment, there also a Cuban Restaurant nearby that serves pretty food at reasonable prices, although the language barrier can be a problem. Highly recommended a great place to stay !!!"
