"Our first time in Maine and in Acadia and we wanted to stay a little off the beaten path to have a retreat in the evenings. The place fit the bill, had everything we needed and it was comfortable for two people. Quick drive to all major must sees and dos, and it had even quicker access to some areas that were less inundated with tourists. We had some minor issues while we were there with water pressure when several people were using water across the properties and in the laundry and a brief power outage, but the owner was always quick to communicate and resolve the situation. They also told us they were working on fixes so that might never be an issue going forward. Overall good value and certainly more updated than other parts of the area if you're looking for modern amenities."

"Very cute and comfortable, great location for walking into town. Main Street is very busy during the day so this may not be the best location if you want something quiet, but it was great for our family to get into town and check everything out!"

"The house and the staff were amazing! The home was beautiful and in a great location regarding park access. The staff was so very accommodating, and even let me check in a little early. If you’re considering staying in an inn, remember that the walls are thinner than a regular hotel. You’re basically sharing a home with others, depending on how many rooms are in the house. Overall, great stay and I would definitely recommend and go back myself."

"Western Mountain Townhouse is a great size for four people, particularly a couple with two children. In fact, it is larger than it looks in the VRBO photos! It is extremely clean, and well outfitted for cooking meals. One bedroom and one bathroom are downstairs, and a second bedroom and bath are upstairs, which makes the townhouse feel spacious. The townhouse is an easy walk to the center of Southwest Harbor, where we found several very good restaurants. Ingrid was great to work with, and responded right away to my messages."

"The tiny house was amazing. My family of 4 found it cozy. Very well kept, clean, and modern. The kitchen was well outfitted to make quick meals. Sleeping was great, cool summer nights coupled with a comfy bed for adults and folding couch for the kids. The fire pit and outdoor water front view were awesome! The owner was extremely responsive. Thank you for making our vaca a great one!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Acadia! Southwest Harbor was charming and quiet, but a nice distance from all of the sites we visited. The home was charming, clean, and well-stocked. The proprietors were quick to respond. The kids especially loved the upstairs! 3 double beds and a futon—perfect for our families!"
