Business trip to Folkestone

The building appears tired but the room was clean and comfortable The restaurant was very busy and quite noisy so I chose to eat in the room which was fine

Hotel is right on the Leas and does have a view over the Channel. Lovely walk down to the harbour arm and old town. Train station 15 minutes away. Folkestone is a great place to visit. Highly recommend

Warm welcome from receptionist. Room beautifully clean, linen nice and crisp. Towels fluffy. Free bottles of drinking water. Only downfall was lift was out of order, but got a free drink voucher. Will definitely be back for a third visit

Great hotel overall

Clean and well kept room - friendly and helpful staff. Good location for the beach and also for the Eurotunnel. The only downside was how hot the room was - radiator was off and we had the windows open but it was still too hot to sleep comfortably!

Excellent value for money . Our room was spacious , clean and comfortable . Little extras like robes. Water and fruit juice made it feel even more luxurious . Perfect location for an event at leas cliff hall

Excellent Accommodation

Tastefully decorated hotel, service was excellent, very helpful and friendly staff, ate at the restaurant and the food was full of taste and flavour. Spotlessly clean room with a great view. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location but dated

Location is great but for the price it’s quite dated. The bed was very firm which isn’t my personal preference. The rooms could do with a bit of a revamp but the bathrooms are massive. If you are booking for a wedding don’t bother as there’s no plugs near mirrors or full length mirrors to get ready with. For a hotel called the view it does live up to that if you are at the front of the hotel, side rooms did have a sea view but was mostly looking over a burnt hotel next door.

Only notified about lift not working when i arrived and i was on second floor . Luckily im fit but someone else may have struggled. Could not get a printed invoice on checkout - promised to email me one hasn't materialised yet . No privacy in room as is overlooked so you need to keep the curtains closed at all times.
