What can I say!!!! Best hotel, Amazing service from check in staff who are amazing and welcoming. They are super helpful and friendly. The manager was amazing, so helpful and accommodating . She helps , and pay attention to little details to make your time great and always with a smile . Restaurant staff were amazing and attentive. Management is superb , and waiters are very highly trained to make guests feel special. Egor was great in particular as he is fast , attentive, and super friendly. We have been coming here for the 4 th time now as it is great and upscaled. It is part of the i prefer hotels . Only my gps keeps taking me to a different location thinking we arrived, but the street is closed. Restaurants, breakfast, dinner, lunch all had great selections. They even arranged couple massages for us on the panoramic terrace. Over all it is 10 out of 10.

Good, but not 5 star.

Really enjoyed a 5 night stay at the Sense Resort. It's a little further South than the normal, iconic Tuscan coast resorts which is why we chose to stay. However, that does mean that it's a little further away from the main tourist spots and the Follonica lacks the choice of retail, restaurants and entertainment of other well known resorts. The hotel is nice, although I'd say it's more 4 than 5 star with some thought and investment needed to bring it up to a true five star standard. The good: The beach is sandy, clean and there's an allocation system for cabanas and deck chairs - so absolutely no fighting for space! The restaurant staff are amazing. How they cope in the heat with trousers, shirts and ties is beyond me. The rooms are good standard and clean, although the bathroom doesn't have an extractor fan - so it gets very hot with the shower on. The "could be better". Some staff are not nearly as good as the restaurant team - particularly the bellhops and reception. The carpet covering the corridor of the room blocks is old, worn and smells really bad. We actually had to hold our breath from the lift to our room the smell was so bad. Nowhere really to lounge with a coffee or cocktail - seems a really big miss for a hotel aspiring to 5 star. The pool is stuck at the end of the car park, nowhere near the beach or other amenities. Finally, although the standard of food is generally good, choice is limited, no cocktail menu and it's expensive.

Wunderschöner Strand und sehr sauberes, Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich. Leider gab es kein Gym, was ich bei einem 5-Sterne Hotel erwartet hätte. Quiet at night with pleasant live music entertainment ( not too loud) ending at 10pm. Decent suite with bath and shower, comfortable beds, big closet and good coffee machine.
