Wir waren schon mehrfach im away inn, was ja schon für das Hotel spricht und haben uns auch in diesem Jahr dort wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer und die Anlage sind sauber und gepflegt und man kümmert sich, allerdings ist alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Good hotel to stay. 3 line of the beach. Recommend

Noise from the street not heard. 3 line of the beach. There is no boardwalk on the beach thus it's a quiet piece of the beach. So, hotel is conveniently located. 20 min to FLL. Room is roomy for this price. No problems with staff or amenities. Recommend.

Perfect Anniversary

The reviews I have read about Away Inn are accurate. Ifound my new family. The owner?/supervisor was the real reason she treated us like family even made us Thanksgiving dinner for everyone staying there. Delicious it was. Plus it was a truly international experience so many guests were from other parts of the world & never experienced Thanksgiving. Our room was very large separate kitchen with all the utencils& pans you need,bedroom,living room good size & ceiling fans in both also air conditioning worked well, & the shower worked very well, good hot water which was very nice. The bed is a little hard but we got used to it. Very clean everywhere. Heated pool wonderful, a little library with a table & chairs, laundramat,toys for the kids to play with by the pool even a little kitchen. Also chairs,coolers,fishing rods for the beach plus beach towels & umbrellas. The beach,restaurants & grocery store were less than a 5 min. walk,we hardly used the car.I really enjoyed staying in the safe town of Lauderdale by the Sea, it was small & quaint with very nice people living there. Thank you Away Inn it was so wonderful staying with you for our 30th wedding anniversary & Thanksgiving. I wish I could come every year. One last thing great value for your money.

Great Location

Typical of the Inns in the Lauderdale by the Sea area. Not 5-Star, but nothing wrong either. Older place that has been updated to modern standards. Great Pool.

Très déçu

Nous sommes allés 2 nuits dans cet hotel après avoir lu des très bon avis sur expédia. nous avions réservé pour une chambre avec 2 lits doubles. nous avons eu droit à une sorte de 2 pièces avec une chambre séparée et un canapé lit dans le salon. le canapé lit était très inconfortable. nous avons demandé à changer de chambre à la réceptionniste très désagréable puis à annuler la seconde nuit mais elle a refusé. ensuite la porte de la chambre donnait directement sur le boulevard.

Nice hotel close to beach and restaurants

I had a very pleasant stay. One block from beach. Close to restaurants, supermarket, and shops. Room was cleaned. The air conditioning makes some noise when it starts but it is ok.

Quarto antigo, lençol surrado, ar condicionado barulhento. Não limparam o quarto no primeiro dia. Fortíssimo cheiro de mofo, cheiro impregnado no quarto. Pedimos 1 hora de late de check out e uma senhora da recepção muito inflexível disse que não, insistimos em outros turnos até que conseguimos 1 hora de flexibilidade

COMFY & CLEAN!!!

I truly ENJOYED staying at Away Inn - my room CLEAN and well equipped with everything I needed including dishes (WOW). I would DEFINITELY stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. The location was perfect as well very quiet and safe. In case that wasn't enough there is so much to see and do on Commercial Blvd especially the scenery at night!!!

Comfortable Boutique Hotel

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was perfect for our stay. Fully supplied kitchenette (dishes, cookware, utensils, etc) and bathroom with all toiletries. Gas grill on site for guests to use. We only stayed one night so we didn't get to go to the beach or use the pool and hotel offers free use of beach chairs and coolers! Location is great and easy to find plus there is a food store and mini strip mall across the street while the beach is just across (1 block) the main road (A1A). Nice little place for a get-away. We would stay there again.

Beautiful and convenient

We needed to stay in FLL for one night after a cruise for a flight the next day.. I found this hotel on Expedia , and it looked descent & reasonably priced.. First, the area is amazing .. I'd never heard of "Lauderdale by the Sea"... great resteraunts and shops. Second, the hotel clerk was so kind and accommodating .. she let us check in early, loaned us her personal beach umbrella (all the hotels were being used), and was just a pleasure.. Lastly, our room was clean & well kept, the beds were super comfortable , the mini kitchen had a mini fridge, microwave , stove top, coffee pot and dishes! The pictures do not do this place justice.. I'd stay again if ever in the area..

Fint og hyggeligt hotel. Vi troede, at der var en lille gård eller balkon til hvert værelse, det var der ikke, men fine fælles områder. Vi fik et værelse med en grim lugt, men fik byttet det til et andet uden problemer. Super betjening i receptionen.
