"This house exceeded our expectations. The location on Lake Ontario is magnificent. We hardly wanted to leave because the lake view was magical and it was so peaceful and surprisingly quiet. Our family enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. sitting outside and sleeping with the windows open to enjoy the sound of the waves. We caught several amazing sunsets on the lake. We came to Sterling to visit friends and family, but we never had to go far as they enjoyed visiting us at the "Lake House". We didn't need all the bedrooms, but we would love to return next year with our kids and grandkids. There's plenty of room for everyone! One of our favorite VRBO rentals, ever!"

"Overall impression was good and a very clean place, albeit simple w/no frills (bring or pay for shampoo). Somewhat disappointed with check-in, around 3:30. After buzzed in, found no lobby/counter just lady seated sideways fixed on computer screen... barely glanced at me the whole time. No other issues, might stay again or consider other options."

"We had such a nice stay at this property. It was serene, which is just what we needed. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The living room was great for hanging out with family and the kitchen was a perfect size for what we needed. I really appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts when we asked a question. We would definitely stay here again."
