The vampire's den, downtown big house, pets ok
Once upon a midnight dreary, in my quest for lodging, weary, I stumbled upon a house, peculiar and eerie, With ebony floors that creaked and croaked, A grand old clock that tick-tocked and joked.
Four bedrooms, where the bizarre did dwell, A dining room with tales to tell, A kitchen that conjured culinary spells, Two bathrooms, where the ordinary rebelled.
Pet friendly, (no werewolfs), balcony and front porch, washer and dryer.
We invite you inside to share a bite of vampiric fantasy. This home has stood for generations in the downtown Fort Smith area and you can be a part of that legacy.
The Large bay window in the bridal chamber is the perfect perch to watch the victims, I mean people pass by.
The giant dinner chamber will provide ample room for the entire coven to bond over a warm meal.
The young can teeth on the bunnies in our forest room.
perhaps the Victorian era calls to some sense of nostalgia for some. this room features a second story balcony with a park view.
the kitchen is perfectly suited for the preparation of any delights or indulgence.
we welcome you to our little paradise.

Came back to the Fort for our son's graduation, wanted a place big enough for our family to have space while celebrating his big day. A hotel would've not only been ridiculously expensive but there wouldn't have been room and privacy like what we got here. 3 loved the decor and hospitality of the hosts. Our dog loved it too!!!
My adult kids and grandkids stayed here. Very central location and lots of “Easter eggs”. Had an absolutely great time. For out of towners, it’s a small town and quite a bit closes early.
2nd time we visited! my family absolutely loved it . Nice dining area for a gathering.
The bedrooms are fabulous and the upstairs bathroom has one of the best showers ive ever experienced, both hot and excellent water pressure .
The property was spectacularly spooky for our girls night, the decor was perfect and the amenities were up to par! Thank you for such a great experience!
Such a fun themed house! We had a great stay. We loved the seperate air conditioners in the bedrooms so we could have it as cool as we wanted. Lots of neat decorations!
We had a great stay in the vampire house. It was on theme throughout and the kids loved it. Shayne was a wonderful host. The neighborhood isn't great...it's on a really busy street without much around. But otherwise, wonderful and would stay again.
The house was decorated in a vampire theme. Our host even greeted us as a vampire. The kids really enjoyed the house.
The location was perfect for the activities planned. We went to Eureka Springs to Turpentine Creek and the Diamond Mine.
Fort Smith, Arkansas is an interesting place to visit with its colorful history.
Was exactly what it appears in the pics. Check in was smooth , owner was nearby to help with with the door code in 5 mins. Very clean and eveything worked just like it should. . Only suprise wa sthe hot tub is a shared space but i probably just missed dghat in the listing . Friendly
We had fun, the kids and teens had mixed feelings about the decor but came around and didn’t want to leave by the time we left LOL! There were talks of “when I have my own house it will be this theme” on the way home. There were lots of interesting things to look at. Our host was very quick to answer any questions we had, especially when we had trouble with Verbo’s email instructions. The property is very close to downtown museums, restaurants, and stores within walking distance. The shared hot tub felt really good to relax in, it was stormy off and on our weekend stay so we didn’t spend too much time in it. Thank you for a great stay, we enjoyed our weekend get away that was super budget friendly for our family of 5.

It was ok...
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but so is most of Fort Smith, so take that with a grain of salt. We never had anything dangerous happen to us, but the people looks rough walking around the neighborhood. The house was mostly clean. We went to use the baby bath and it was very gross inside. I also think the dark colors in the house make it feel less clean. The check in process was not seamless. I wasn't able to locate the check-in code or WIFI password on VRBO. However, Shayne was very attentive and answered his phone right away to help. Shanye was very nice and actually met my family at the property to help them get in before I arrived. Overall I would rate my experience as OK and if you need a place to stay while passing through fort smith I would recommend.
The family and I loved staying in Dracula’s house. He was a very gracious host. Lots of Easter Eggs to explore. Cold A/C and household supplies provided. Cool alley in the back to walk around.
The property is exactly as described! The host is lovely and very helpful. We were in Ft Smith for the symphony performance of Harry Potter to support our feiwnds who are violinists. An absolutely great time was had by all! We definitely will stay here again!
