This wonderful Gulf-front rental has a commanding view of the mesmerizing Gulf of Mexico. The living room and Master Bedroom have access to this wonderful private balcony. You will enjoy sitting on the balcony which is furnished with chairs and a table for your comfort and enjoyment. The floor-to-ceiling patio doors, for both rooms, enhance your view of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen comes equipped with all the comforts of home, including a full size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All the utensils needed to prepare and serve meals are supplied for your convenience. If you elect to not eat in then there are many wonderful restaurants located near by as well as shopping available in Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida. This unit has 3 TVs, DVD player, and a CD stereo system located in the living room.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Surf Dweller 512

Fantastic view and balcony! Downside, TV service in the condo did not work. Contacted Vacasa several times, was told they would send to management to rectify for us. This NEVER happened!! We should be refunded a portion of our stay due to the troubles we had! Just want to sit down, relax and watch the news and no TV! If you use an insulin pump or anything that depends on WiFi, it is verify spotty.

Very Nice View of the Water

A nice large two bedroom condo on the fifth floor with a good sized porch and view of the beach. Great place for a relaxing get away.

Great gulf view, easy beach access

This property had everything we needed for our family Spring Break vacation. Very clean, everything functional. Loved the corner condo as it gives more of a beach view and natural light. Would stay again. Excellent property and host! Thanks!

Great view and roomy

The size was great, the furnishings were nice. The kitchen could use some updating. The balcony was big. End unit was close to elevators and had extra windows. Bring a heating blanket if you come in the winter, the heater needs attention. It’s definitely great for a large group.

Surf Dweller 52

We arrived a couple hours early and called to see if we could get in the unit. We were told they were not done cleaning it , we waited by the pool and never saw anyone come in or out of the unit . We never received a call that the unit was ready, we just went and used the key code when it was check in time. The elevator outside of our unit was broken the whole time, we had to walk to the other side of the complex to use the elevator. Very inconvenient and never saw anyone fixing the elevator. Unit was not as clean as we expected. Couch and pillows on the couch were so dusty they were causing allergies for our daughter. Lamp shades were dirty also. Kitchen was not clean either. Pans were put away with food still stuck on them, had to wash everything before we could use it. Have stayed at Surf Dweller lots of times in the past 25 years, but doubt we will ever go back. Seems like management doesn't care to keep it up. Definitely will not go back to this unit.

Our 4 Days at Surf Dweller

We have stayed at Surf Dweller probably 35 or more times in our 42 years of marriage. We have been in multiple different units. The entire experience was not up to the Surf Dweller we know. Vacasa would not return our text or calls about early check-in when we knew No one was there the day before. Then they start texting you the day before that your vacation has concluded be out by 10AM. The unit itself was older and needed updating, The kitchen didn’t even have a salt and pepper shaker. The kitchen was not well supplied. You are charging high prices for these units and tell people they have to buy their own toilet paper, you are only going to supply one extra roll. These things are petty. I don’t write reviews but in this instance I think you need to know the perception that people are getting from you because perception is reality.

Awesome for family vacation

We stayed a week and were very happy with the accommodations. The condo is roomy and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I especially enjoyed the fact beach chairs and umbrella were provided, making it much easier with a 5 yr old. My only real complaint is the bathtubs could use some updating.. tubs a bit stained/dingy.. otherwise everything was perfect!

Uncomfortable

Spacious condo with beautiful views. Only negative is the furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable. The couch & chairs were also very uncomfortable and were not the same as the furniture depicted in the photos.

Beautiful Oceanfront

The condo was the prefect choice for my family of 3 for our first time visit to Florida. It is a huge condo on the 5th floor, most beautiful part of it is an ocean front property. We were excited for blue ocean water but we must have came in on see weed season since we only got blue water the day we arrived. The property does come with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella to use while on the beach. Only downside I would said is the beds are NOT comfortable at all so be prepared for that and elevator is conveniently placed outside your door but be prepared for it to be hot while in it as there is no air conditioning. 8/10 stay would recommend.
