"Great farm cottage in the Staffordshire moorlands. Perfect for a peaceful time away. Rooms were all very clean and lovely decor.You need a car to get there and visit places but a footpath runs straight from the cottage if you want to get out into the countryside which is stunning.Great communication from the host. Would definitely recommend!"

"This was the perfect venue for a family get-together of 6 adults and 7 dogs between us to celebrate my big birthday! Everything was on hand for the dogs from the outside warm wash facility to dog towels, protective throws, bowls, balls! Even though we had packed everything for them it was good to know! The safe, fenced paddocks provided endless fun for the dogs to play together - an idyllic spot. Of course the dogs come first on a holiday because if they are settled we can relax - and that we did! Comfortable sofas and lovely log fire for a foggy day! Thoughtful groceries were provided including scrummy cake - much appreciated! Lovely large pine table for playing board games in the evenings!All in all a lovely cottage for a very memorable family weekend - thank you so much "

"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "
