The rooms are absolutely filthy, the couch in our room was covered in stains, the bathroom was full of dirt, and don’t take off your shoes on the carpet. Not only that, the hotel has a smoking policy and provides falsified reports so they can charge extra fees, even though there is no smoking in the room. Please make sure you read all the Google reviews before booking this hotel. You will be charged extra fees, and they will not reverse them. "

"This is our second year staying at the Hotel St. James. The location could not be better, especially if you want to see some theater. The staff are wonderful, friendly and attentative. While not the fanciest of hotels, it suits all of our needs at a reasonable price."
