"We loved our stay at whale Rock suites. The views of the ocean were amazing and we felt really isolated but we were just a few minutes from Trinidad. It's literally the perfect place to watch the sunset. The apartment was clean, well stocked, especially with towels and very comfortable. Although there were different neighbors throughout the week, it stayed relatively quiet. The one small issue we had with a misfiring smoke alarm was resolved very quickly and the communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again and actually hope to in the near future."

"Reserved #5- I had to stop along the drive two times to remove unleashed dogs that were laying in the driveway. Later I found out one of the helpers had her hand bandaged because she had been bit by one of those dogs. The grass was overgrown, dismantled boats and cars and buckets of trash were around the property. I'm elderly so I depend on railings which was broken. When I go inside I see trash, dirty clothing and someone sleeping in the bed. a person comes out of #3 without a shirt on and says he's the manager and wants to know who I am. I tell him I'm a guest and he seems surprised and starts asking where I placed my reservation. He ends up saying that it will take about two hours to get #5 ready. I state I really need to get settled now and he says I can be at #2. I go to number two - there is no sheets, no pillows, no blankets and no towels, no paper towels, no plates, no cups, no coffee maker and no two beds. Worst off there was NO HOT WATER - he says he has to buy propane. After the propane still no hot water so they move me to #1 which was cleaner than the others. There was NO Wifi, no television no internet. I had to go outside in the rain to use my phone. It was so cold, I used my sleeping bag to keep warm. The pond on waterfall were drained. stayed for one night and left to check into a place that had adequate heating, hot water, WiFi, coffee maker two beds and cooking supplies. This did not live up to what was advertised"

"Charming house in an idyllic setting. Off the beaten path with all the amenities you’ll need. Short drive to the beach for long walks."

"The cabin was clean and well stocked with toiletries and warm sheets. We enjoyed our stay among the Redwoods and if we ever venture out that way again, would love to stay here again!"

"Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same reason."

"This was a very nice place with a full kitchen! (Expedia doesn't make that clear) The hot tub was amazing. I would stay here again."

"If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Upon my arrival the check in process was messy, my cabin as not available/I was told by a random person on the property I would get a refund, property ground were VERY sketchy, 4-5 people who tossed me around before finding me a “cabin” were inconsistent and the owner was terrifying. It was extremely unsafe. 100% a scam!!! I ended up leaving and finding other accommodations (and was lucky because everything was booked). "
