"Needs updating , foul smell when entering the stairs , carpets need cleaning, shower was very poor "

"Clean room tastefully furnished as well as the lounge areas. Staff were excellent, polite and always helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Dining was great experience quality of our meal excellent. Well stocked bar for us. Would recommend and go again. "

The staff are professional, good humoured and really are the icing on a pretty terrific cake...coffee could be better....but the two magpies is literally 3 minutes walk"
