"This was my first time staying at a ryokan and also one of the highlights of my trip to Tottori! The staffs were super welcoming from the moment I arrived. They gave me a tour of the ryokan and provided me with instructions about the amenities and services.
I love that my room had a sunset view over the pond. I had a relaxing time doing my readings on the porch.
I opted to include meals with my stay. They let me choose the times for my dinner and breakfast. It was my first kaiseki experience and I enjoyed every dish! I recommend going to dinner with your stomach empty because there were so much high quality foods! I definitely felt like I was at a fine dining restaurant.
Lastly, the open air onsen was amazing. I had been to public bath at other chain hotels but this was my first time at an open air bath. All the 2 private and 2 public onsen were very clean and well kept and I got to enjoy all throughout my stay.
They also have shuttle service to Tottori station so check in with front desk if you need a quick ride there.
Thank you to all the staff at Kansuitei Kozeniya for being kind and attentive to me throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again if I ever had another chance to visit Tottori."
