We were supposed to come in right when the very first hurricane hit San Diego! The owner was communicative and let us know the status of the area so we knew we weren’t flying into a flooded disaster. We had one small issue with a missing tv remote and the handyman showed up with a replacement remote within the hour! The outside backyard area was a bit dirty but there was a tropical storm that had blown through the day before so I’ll give this piece a pass but this was not a useable space for us. The inside, however, was immaculate.
The owner provided garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry detergent, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dishwasher soap. This was definitely helpful for us traveling by plane and would undoubtedly have to throw out anything like this that we purchased.
AC unit in the main area and window unit in the back room with the twin beds helped to keep the place cool.
I would suggest renting an SUV or car that doesn’t not ride low to the ground. The driveway is incredibly steep and without a doubt will be tricky with a low riding car like a mini van or sports car.
