"We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Condor. We stayed for 4 nights. We had a sea view room which is a must. The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast available on the terrace was nice albeit we opted for coffees most mornings and ate at a nearby restaurant or bought breakfast bits from the Coop. Speaking of which we found the Coop incredibly useful - it’s 2 mins down the street which you need to walk past to enter the main area of bars and restaurants and the Main Street - via Umberto- which is also just 2-3 mins walk away. The staff were very helpful and if you’re driving they park your car for you in a secure car park up the street and they collect it for you when you need it between 7am and 11pm although they can do before or after with forewarning. It costs 25 euros a day so just be aware. Overall we think the location / close proximity to the main bars and restaurant area, and the sea view room are the standout for us. It proved a perfect spot for the price. Would recommend for a short stay."

"Beautiful hotel, great staff and reasonably priced food and drinks. Good location with wonderful views of the bay, mountains and etna. Pool was always welcomed in the heat and never overly busy. Shuttle was well used and reliable. Just wish it serviced the train station as taxis were expensive. Already looking forward to a return trip."

"This hotel is magical. Right on the beach with plenty of beds and helpful lifeguards. Even though hotel is dated and belongs to another era, its beautify lies in its antiquity. I wish I could have stayed more days to enjoy breakfast on patio under ancient trees and unobstructed view of the sea. The service was incredible all around and rooms were squeaky clean. Beds comfortable and linen soft."
