Beautiful home, well decorated and plenty of space. Owners are terrific to work with.

Highly recommend this home. Well located in The Territory, plenty of space and sell stocked with all the essentials.

Family weekend

We were in town to celebrate a family engagement and this house accommodated us beautifully with all en-suite bedrooms. We weren’t there much but were able to sit on the screened porch a few times and really enjoyed that.

Thanksgiving with family

The house was a permit fit for our 3 families. Plenty to keep the kids busy with pool and football tables and PlayStation game console downstairs. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location.

Couples Getaway

We had such a great time staying at this house. The setup was perfect for 4 couples. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which worked out great. Pete and Laura were awesome to work with and very accomodating. Would for sure stay here again. Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Thank you!

Beautiful Area

The grounds of the house are gorgeous and the fire pit was awesome. The host was responsive and easy to talk to. A few updates need to be done and when talking to the host, they said they are addressing them and they were very kind. Very easy access to the owners club. Wonderful time of year to stay!

Spacious & Away

We had a great weekend over the 4th in this spacious house with screened in porch, fire pit, access to swimming, fishing, golf and time in Galena! The kitchen was roomy and very well stocked!! We had one problem but when we got a hold of owner it was taken care of best as possible.

The Perfect Place for Five Couples

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom with king or queen beds. The house was very clean. The kitchen well stocked. We had the perfect evenings to enjoy the screened in porch and fire pit. The owners were very easy to communicate with even though we had no issues. Great place for a weekend getaway!

Great long weekend

A great property. The home is spacious and very clean. We like to grill and cook and appreciated the large gas grill and well stocked kitchenware. Everyone was comfortable in the large kitchen, dining and living room...and then retreating to their own bed and bath at the end of a fun day. The large lawn and fire pit were great for young and old alike. Many amenities of the Galena Territory are within a quick drive.

Grape Stomping

We attended a grape stomping fest at Massbach Winery. Perfect location between winery & downtown Galena. Beautiful home with a bathroom for each bedroom. Kitchen was good and big dining table to fit our group. Gas grill was great. Fire pit was awesome. Would recommend!

Perfect for our needs

Having bathrooms for all bedrooms was so helpful. The fire pit was enjoyed by all. We were amazed & happy to see so many stars in the sky…it’s peaceful there & you feel like you’re a million miles away. The two upper decks are great for watching our guests using the large yard & fire pit area. Everythjng you need is there. So restful. Plenty to do or relaxing to do nothing.

Wonderful Stay at The Galena Getaway

After years of staying at the same house in The Territory, our family simply outgrew our accommodations. Searching VRBO we found a house that looked like it fit our needs, and we were correct! Pete and Laura are wonderful hosts and good communicators, the house exceeded our expectations-it was very clean, had things like plenty of pots, pans, silverware, etc and especially sharp knives (and a knife sharpener!) and the fire pit was wonderful (fire pits are one of our requirements.) Our entire family voted to return to the Getaway next year!!

Great house for a group

House was a great size, and bathroom in every bedroom was fabulous. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Nice amenities, pool table, hot tub, grill, games to play. Fitness club was standard, but nice that it was available. Our family really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend staying here. Owners were very responsive to questions, both before and during stay. We enjoyed the Christmas tree and lights! It was winter, but the screened in porch and fire pit would be great in better weather.

Fabulous gathering place

Couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our 35th college girlfriend reunion! Property lived up to presentation online. The rooms were comfortable and well supplied. Loved the fire pit outside, hot tub, screened porch and the relaxing environment we were able to enjoy. Just a heads up, may want to bring your own ziploc bags, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Pete & Laura were very responsive whenever we reached out. Very accommodating! Would highly recommend this location if have a larger group or one where want multiple rooms/bathrooms! Look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful time at Galena Getaway! There were 10 of us, and it was such a bonus that each couple had their own room and private bathroom—so much space and comfort. The grounds and views were absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, bake, or grill.The town of Galena was just a short 15–20 minute drive away, and when the summer heat kicked in, we loved being able to head just 4 minutes up the road to the included pool, game room, and fitness center. There’s so much to see in the area, and we truly hope to be back—we’d definitely love to stay here again!

Incredible weekend, Fantastic House

My wife and I, our four kids and four grandkids did a ski weekend and stayed in the Galena Territories. This house was the best! Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a very nice convenience. Everyone enjoyed sitting in the spa outside with snow on the ground.The owners were friendly, easy to connect with and were are super responsive when needed! Already planning an adult golf weekend and will be back in this house if it's available!

Family Christmas

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Such a nice bonus that it was decorated for Christmas and we felt so at home with all the attention to detail. We loved the opportunity for some to be playing games downstairs while others played games upstairs. All the bathrooms made it feel like we all had our own space. We will be back.

Beautiful house

This house was spacious and tastefully decorated. We especially loved the decorated Christmas tree and holiday decor throughout! We had a slight plumbing problem on Thanksgiving, and Pete promptly had a plumber out in less than an hour! From reservations to check in to check out, the process was flawless. We all enjoyed our stay.
