Small room for the price, no temperature control, WiFi password, or booklet to give overview of local services. No email as advertised to get in to the premises. Excellent on cleanliness, shower en suite. On main drag and loud on weekend nights with car and student traffic. Would I book it again - yes now that I know it, but I would want it at a lower rate. Bonus: Mocha Bean coffee shop with pastries and bread and beverages to please the palate right below, who gave me their WiFi password.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom and shower. Took a couple of tries to communicate with the property to get access information. Eventually WhatsApp message came through. Couldn’t connect to the wifi, luckily the coffee shop downstairs was still open and allowed us to connect to theirs. An early morning fire alarm was also taken care of thanks to the coffee shop once they arrived to open up (only a few minutes after the alarm started). All worked out in the end.

Room was clean and relatively quiet. It was above a business so it was close to the street but it was not too loud. Having a "code" to enter instead of a key or card was convenient as you didn't have to worry about dropping it...you just entered the combination it and there you go! There was a convenience store just down the block so you could grab some snacks if you wanted to. It was within walking distance to most things that you would need and there were bus stops near for destinations that were further away. Shopping area was not far away as well as food of various types. The ferry to the Aran Islands was only a 20-25 minute walk. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The room we were given did not have a bathroom attached to it, the bathroom was in the hall with a sign “only for room 2” but there was nothing stopping others from using our bathroom. The bathroom smelt terrible. The room was much smaller than described, the building was confusing, parked in front of the cafe because we weren’t sure where else to park, we never got a wifi password even after messaging and asking. Room was clean though.

Although it was clean the bed was uncomfortable and the shower was poor. You can also hear everything in this accommodation, which makes it hard to sleep. I understand Galway is expensive, but this accommodation should not be as expensive as it is.

Very cute little spot to stay. Unfortunately the check in details were a bit off and there's no staff on site. We were given a front door code and a room code. The front door code did not work but eventually we figured out the room code works on both doors. The wifi information we were given was also incorrect. Not the best water for showering and the beds were very creamy and noisy. All things considered we still loved the property. Great value and a very cool spot.

The toilet kept running all night, then ran out of water in the middle of a shower. Texted the property owner, who failed to respond. The staff at the coffee shop below was very nice, and they tried to help, but they did not get a response from the property owner either.

This property is above their cafe and my room 5 was directly above the ventilation fans - so you hear them loudly throughout your stay (no mention when booking of “bring earplugs”) Despite being mid December, the radiator in my room was not producing heat - perhaps the staff wear outdoor coats when ‘preparing’ the room. The bathroom taps produce only cold water. The shower could provide warm water (hurrah) but this steamed up the bathroom as it doesnt have an extractor fan - you cannot open the window as its broken … There is no way that this room is acceptable to be rented out, and to charge as much as they do is disgusting
