The whole facility had a musty odor. Outside smelled like cooked cabbage. The room had dirty floors. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything happening around you. The A/C did not work well. We had it set to 68 and still woke up sweating.

Iris Garden

Repeat stay. While the accommodations were good they have a few maintenance items that I spoke with the manager about on my check out. The location is convenient to Savannah.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast offering were limited to cereal, waffles, apples for fruit. Found it strange they had tea but no hot water to brew also they had packages of oatmeal but no hot water or microwave for heating.

This our second time to stay at the Iris Garden Inn in Garden City/Savannah. Our daughter is a student at SCAD and in the past we always stayed at short term rentals in the north historic district. Last year we traveled with our dog to pick up our daughter for summer break and stayed at the Iris Garden Inn because they allow pets. We were pleasantly surprised at the newness and cleanliness of the inn and our room as well as the friendly and very helpful staff. Plus it had a large parking lot and grassy areas for walking our dog. This year no dog but booked again because we liked the convenience. It is close to the historic district (5 to 10 minute drive) and you don’t have the headache of hunting 15 minutes for an overnight pay to park space.

I highly recommend this location staff very friendly and great customer service it was very busy but the young lady at the desk was amazing, very clean, quiet location I was there due to no power and lights I was able to do my laundry there thank you for a great visit during my difficult time your hospitality is appreciated

Property doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. The complimentary body wash in the shower wasn’t filled up/completely empty, the floor of the shower wasn’t cleaned, pillow cases on one side of our king bed where very damp/wet… someone who works for the hotel knocked on our door at 11:30pm at night and asked us when we were checking out the next day… very inappropriate especially when they know when people have to check out by. Very very unpleased and IS NOT worth $160 per night.

Minimoon in Savannah

We loved our stay!! Very conveniently located to downtown Savannah with great quality service. The water pressure wasn’t the best in the shower and some smell of weed but staff is always cleaning and available to help. Highly recommend we will be back. Thank you!

I give 3 star for service due to the front office staff who was there at the time of my check-in. She didn’t great me as she was upset or frustrated on incoming call. I was just standing there quite waiting her to finish what she was doing. She said something rude when the phone ring and she saw me standing there she didn’t care. The rest of front desk staffs were very nice, great everyone when you walk in or out.

Our room smelled as if someone smoke cigarettes in it and the decorative facing over the window fell off. No biggie but could be fixed. The receptionist was amazing, we loved her! There was a visiting receptionist from the hotel next door and she was rude as hell. Maybe stay next door, next time.
