The guy at the front is very helpful. I stayed at the 3rd floor,the smell at the halls is horrible, my bathtub was full of hair inside so water didn't flush properly and my sheets has stains. Tv control didn't work properly. It needs improvement. Location is great

Room had flies and nasty the lady was a sweetheart but she switched me .Bed is comfortable but the smell is crazy smells like mildew and all the rooms and the pool is closed . breakfast is included but don't have much . I would not stay there again but it is affordable and not horrible

Check in was great unfortunately I don't remember the lady's name and other staff were polite. The room was a little dated but clean. Elevator was a little shaky but inspection up to date. We felt safe and unbothered. There is a grocery store (food lion) about a block distance away. And honestly the location is kinda great to get us where we wanted to go for the 4 days of our stay. I'd stay again for sure.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the Historic District. However, the immediate environment is very industrial and not well maintained. The neighborhood is questionable, most houses and buildings in disrepair. The hotel itself has a nice parking, outside of the building well maintained. Staff was nice and check-in was easy. Our room was on the third floor; we were met with a strong smell of mold and humidity, the room was the same. It looked nice, paint looked fresh, furniture recent, etc. We could see the mold and dust blocking the vent in the bathroom, and the ones in the bedroom were circled up with a ring of the same matter. A few flies and insects were noticed the next morning. Needless to say we didn't stick around for breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay overall. I've stayed here several times before to escape the fireworks of independence day. Our room lock had an issue and wouldn't lock at all. You could just push the door open into our room. We figured out that If you pulled on the handle upwards, it would eventually lock into place as it should. What scares me is that we discussed this during our stay. The staff weren't aware of it. I really hope they fix this issue before letting more people stay in the room. This is why I rated lower than I would have otherwise. Everything else was pretty good.

The location and the price was very convenient but you definitely get what you pay for. If you stay here, I would recommend bringing pepper spray and your own towels. Other than that, the beds are super comfy and overall was not a bad experience if you’re looking to save some money.
