"We rented an RV and had no idea this was even a thing. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Nothing is ever perfect, but just having someone try their best to make you happy is what matters most to me. The property itself is amazing and this is definitely a place we will come back to, either renting or bringing our own RV. They are also right in the heart of where the best spots on the Frio are."

"We enjoyed our stay at Frio River Cabins. The cabin was clean, Veronica was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the river was wonderful, the grounds were well maintained. There were a couple of things that could be improved, however, that kept me from giving it 5 stars; the air conditioning is not central cooling and so the room where the unit is located was comfortably cool, the other room was not so comfortable. The river access was ok but could be better. By that I mean, you cannot walk into the water, you have to climb down a ladder or jump into it from a high ledge. That’s ok for young people, not so great for older people like us. On the plus side, I really enjoyed all the birds. They keep numerous bird feeders out so if you’re a birder it’s a great place for birding. All in all, we had a great time and would stay there again."

"Overall my stay was a 10/10. The host was prompt with initial check-in. The cabin itself has that cute rustic feel from the moment you walk in…it feels like a sweet little get-away. I didn’t realize the cabin was so close (walking distance) to the river which was a huge plus. Not only is it close to the frio, but super close to Garner state park too! My dogs and I were very comfortable there. So much attention to detail from having a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bag, hand soap was very thoughtful. I also really appreciated not having to bring my own linens too! Everything was very clean as well. The pool is super cute and a nice way to cool off after a day at the river. This little cabin was really a hidden gem. I Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days and hopefully I can be back soon. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise."

"This cabin was perfect for my family of 5. Super clean and had everything we needed. Private pool onsite was perfection! We did encounter a scorpion on the first night in the cabin. Its scorpion country so be aware. My only complaint is that the cabin did not have a washer and dryer inside. Though it was very helpful having a free one onsite. This was our tiny slice of heaven for 3 nights. Just a stones throw from the Frio! We will do this again! We LOVE River Rock Cabins!!Thank you to our host Amy for being amazing!!!"
