Expérience très désagréable concernant l'accessibilité de cet hôtel. l'info "pas d'ascenseur" tout en bas de la page "information sur l'hôtel" m'ayant échappée et voyageant avec une personne à mobilité réduite, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de découvrir à notre arrivée en soirée, un vieil hôtel sans ascenseur. Les chambres sont toutes aux étages et les escaliers sont serrés et raides. Dommage que l'information sur le manque ou la difficulté d’accessibilité ne soit pas mentionnée plus clairement et en première ligne. J'ajoute que lors de ma réservation, j'avais spécifié "chambre accessible pour personne à mobilité réduite" mais ni hotels.com ni l'hôtel Hert ne m'ont recontactée pour me signaler cette incompatibilité.

Goed hotel voor een normaal bedrag per nacht

Bedden iets teveel veren voelbaar maar het ontbijt was prima. Bij dreigend tekort ging de eigenaar direct aan de gang om extra broodjes te halen.

An excellent location in the centre of Genk. The hostess was very friendly and unfailingly helpful. Restaurant served very tasty Belgian, home-cooked food.

Dogodne położenie i to by było na tyle

Rezerwowałem pokój dla siebie i syna na 2 noce i na stronie była podana cena całkowita 120 € płacąc rachunek okazało się że muszę dodatkowo zapłacić na śniadania syna bo pokój zarezerwowałem single (z łóżkiem 140 cm) i dodatkowo podatek więc suma wyszła prawie 140€. Rozmawiając z właścicielką usłyszałem że syn był dodatkowo nie ujęty w kosztach....nie wiem czy błąd leżał po stronie hotelu czy portalu bo wyraźnie rezerwowałem dla siebie i syna ale fakt że koszty były wyższe niż oferta pozostawia negatywne wrażenia.

Gute Lage für anspruchslose

Wir trafen auf sehr freundliche Eigentümer. Das Zimmer war mit Dusche und WC im Schlafraum, durch einen dünnen duschvorhang getrennt, der sich nicht ganz schließen ließ. Das ging garnicht. Wir haben das zimmer gewechselt. Danach war das Bad zumindest mit einer alten schiebetür abzugrenzen. Schön war das trotzdem nicht. Für absolut anspruchslose reicht es aber.

It was a pleasant stay!

The hotel is very basic. The small toilet only has a sliding plastic door and as a result, the water would drip towards the carpet of the room. It does not have an elevator. They would change the towels daily but they would not clean the room. We booked a room with a balcony but there is did not find any balcony. The good points I see is the nice breakfast and its proximity to the center of town and the train and bus station. For the price and for a brief stay, it is good enough.

J avais rendez vous à la Wellness Clinique pour une intervention chirurgicale esthétique de jour Mon rendez-vous était à 9heures Comme je viens de Fréjus(83) j ai réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel ou j y suis arrivée de la veille Un accueil très agréable, les responsables parlent Français, une chambre hyper-propre, un petit-déjeuné comprit dans le tarif de la chambre(60€ la nuit). Un hôtel que je conseille vivement

Just perfect......

I felt welcomed on arrival though it did take a little while for someone to see me as the receptionist also appeared to be the waitress, barmaid and possibly the cook also (the last one is a joke)in the restaurant. And as I had to wait (only a few minutes) I was offered a free drink. My room was on the top floor which was no problem for me. But could be a problem as it was up several sets of stairs with some being very narrow.I was given a hand to carry my bags by the 'porter' who was also the receptionist,etc.But she kept smiling, explained the wi-fi access to me (which I got wrong and went and bugged her about)and breakfast. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Though I do not like European pillows very much. The room was a bit 'falling apart' in places but it was very clean which is more important to me. It was ideal for what I needed and I did not expect The Ritz at the price I paid so therefore 5/5 for value. And then there was breakfast thrown in. All you can eat and with 7 hours standing in the cold and rain to look forward too that was much appreciated. So, would I recommend the hotel. Yes. Most definitely. Don't expect pure luxury. But as someone to eat and sleep at a great price it is perfect.

Hôtel très charmant, accueil adorable même en arrivée tardive, la patronne parle français et le personnel est charmant. La chambre est grande, propre, et le petit déjeuner extraordinaire (crêpes maison, choix , tout y était bon). Bref, un hôtel sympathique et chaleureux

Frühstück super! Zimmer schlecht

Frühstückbuffet ist super!! Zimmer ist nicht gut. Schlechte Matratze, und was gar nicht geht, ist eine Toilette im Zimmer ohne Tür. Ich verstehe nicht, wie man als Hotelier traut seinem Gast so ein Zimmer zu übergeben.

Pas à ma convenance

l'emplacement de l’hôtel en plein centre ville qui est piéton donc pas de place de parking voiture à proximité. Le wifi n'arrive que très difficilement (voir pas du tout) dans les chambres du 2eme et 3eme étage. Les escaliers sont très étroits et moquettés ==> risque de glissage....!! Le petit déjeuner est copieux, les personnes de l hôtel sont agréables, et parlent français couramment. Le centre ville de Genk est agréable

An unbiased opinion

If you want run-of-the-mill, don't choose Hotel 't Hert! But if you like a warm welcome from friendly hosts, an excellent free breakfast and a superb evening menu at a very good price, then you wont be disappointed. Be wary of shallow tread stairs with low headroom! Fairly quiet, considering centre of town location. Room clean and train/bus/cycle-hire station 5 minutes walk. Amazing cycling/walking in National Forest.

Familiehotelletje met menselijke toets !!!

Hartelijke ontvangst. Doordat er iemand vroeger had uitgecheckt kregen we optie om mooiere kamer te nemen. We werden mee begeleid naar onze kamer samen met de 4 voeter. Alles werd goed uitgelegd. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid, vulde constant heel goed bij. Vroegen ook of ze eitjes voor ons moesten koken en hoe lang... Bij uitchecken ook nodige tijd voor persoonlijk contact en vroegen expliciet of er geen tekortkomingen waren of waar men aan kon werken !!!
