Enjoy your own piece of paradise with a vacation to the newly-renovated Bajamar, located on the stunning white sand beach of Tar Bay, Great Exuma, naturally landscaped with swaying palm trees and colorful bougainvillea. This spacious, 5-bedroom house sleeps 10 people in luxurious comfort. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, 3 additional rooms offer king size beds, and the 5th room provides a choice of a king bed or of twin beds. You’ll find 5 full ensuite bathrooms, each with shower. All beds feature top-quality mattresses and fine linens perfect for rejuvenating after a long day enjoying the sun and sand.
With Bajamar’s well-appointed rooms and sociable open floor plan, this house is ideal for families and groups to enjoy time together. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, filled with new appliances (including an ice-maker and a dishwasher), toasters, Nespresso machine, coffee makers, blenders, utensils, cookware, cleaning supplies, and more. Cook delicious meals to share with family and friends, or simply relax with your morning coffee at the breakfast bar. Dine al fresco whenever you please in the outdoor dining area. Inside, the spacious and airy living areas have comfortable seating, complete with beautiful ocean views through large windows.
It’s easy to enjoy the stunning blue waters that welcome you at Bajamar, thanks to 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, beach floats, towels, and lounge chairs available for use during your stay. Rinse off in the refreshing outdoor shower, then slip into a cozy bathrobe. The house also features a pool and spacious outdoor decks, a private gazebo near the beach, and a sundeck hanging over the beach. The house itself is elevated well above the sea to provide fantastic views and a calming sea breeze. The house has its own generator in case it is required.
Bajamar is conveniently located midway between George Town and Exuma International airport. Virtually all amenities are within a short 10-15 minute drive from the house. Not that you will ever really want to leave the house once there!

Incredible Exuma

Celebrated a 50th birthday at Bajamar. Location was great, 5 minute drive from airport. Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was great. Pool and private beach are amazing. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Bajamar

Beautiful property providing everything you could need for a wonderful holiday. Karin Knowles took such good care of us before and during our stay. She was prompt and went out of her way to help us plan everything. Bajamar is the perfect place for a big group providing peace and the most beautiful outlook.

Week at Bajamar

Five couples enjoyed every minute at Bajamar. This spacious house provided plenty of space for all and never felt crowded. The pictures don’t do it justice. Just amazing.

This property is absolutely lovely. Great accommodations, lovely pool, immediate access to fabulous beach. Lots of outdoor seating on patio, lots of good cover from sun. It could hardly be better than this. We were very pleased with it all. I would rate it very highly and definitely consider returning.

Amazing views of the beautiful water from upstairs and downstairs. Pool was great. Great shade areas available for people that don’t enjoy the sun but want to interact with those lounging by the pool. Amazing breeze. Plenty of room for adult couples to each have their own space. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We loved BajaMar! The house was very homey and clean. The dining table on the first floor was the perfect environment for family meals and game nights once the sun went down. What makes this property so fantastic is the location. The beach/pool combination is beautiful! We rarely saw anyone out there... it felt very private. I would not hesitate to stay here again. LOVED THIS HOME!!!

The home was beautiful! A method to go up and down without going outside would be nice. Wonderful to have a bathroom for every bedroom. The usual hotel toiletries were missed. The appliances were very nice. Some of the coffee pots were missing parts. Instructions would be helpful. Wifi was occasionally problematic. (not surprising).The view and the patio were amazing!! The swimming amenities were generous and fun. Everyone we met was very nice. Hope to come back.

Exuma beauty

Family vacation of parents, kids with spouses and 4 grandchildren. This home was stunning and so perfect for us. The staff of Good Life Bahamas helped make us feel at home and taken care of. This home has everything and the beach and pool are so beautiful!! Highly recommend Exuma Water sports and swimming with the pigs too! Dena’s catering prepared 3 wonderful meals for us and was so lovely to work with. We enjoyed exploring Georgetown and other beaches as well. One of our best vacations ever!

Amazing Home!

We are 4 couples that have traveled together for the third time now and Bajamar is our favorite!! The house is so well appointed, beautifully decorated and gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax. The view is stunning and the beach is practically private. Exuma is a friendly laid back island and we had no trouble getting around for groceries and grabbing lunch or dinner. The house was absolutely perfect and we loved our week staying at Bajamar!

Absolutely perfect!

Bajamar was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed our stay with our adult children and their spouses. The house was beautiful and the lay out was great for alone time and together time. The views and the outdoor areas were stunning! We've stayed in Exuma 7 times and all agreed that this was our favorite location, with close proximity to stores, restaurants and marina. The staff and cleaning people were a pleasure to work with. They responded to questions and issues. We loved having pre stocked groceries and they were able to accomadate a late check out as we had a late flight. I could not recommend this property any more and can't wait to return!!

Wonderful property

This is a great vacation home on Exuma. The house is large enough for 5 couples to comfortably spread out and have their own privacy, but also congregate for meals and social gatherings. The view is beautiful and there's a beach that's nearly private. Great location that's not far away from Georgetown. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved it!

We have been to Exuma many many times and really enjoyed the home & location. The house was very well stocked with anything and everything you could need to cook a feast. The pool and covered deck were where we spent most of our time. Beach towels being supplied made our trip easier for packing! Internet was not that great but felt nice to unplug and relax.

What an amazing place!

We had a group of 10 for a milestone birthday party and could not have enjoyed our trip more (well, maybe more if the weather would have cooperated). The place is amazing, came well equipped and stocked, and the manager was always quick and responsive any time I had a question. We requested the place be stocked with grocery essentials, which worked out very well for us. We also used Dena Donuts (one of the suggested chefs) for a dinner in one night and honestly wouldn’t have minded doing that once or twice more, as it was very delicious and convenient. Overall a 10/10 and are already looking forward to booking another trip to Exuma (we plan to bring our children next time).

Better than Imagined

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space for family and friends. Two floors that could each be a stand-alone unit on their own with all the comforts of home. Multiple entertaining spaces. Beautiful pool with unbeatable views. A separate lower deck area overlooking a long, nearly untouched beach. We walked for miles and hardly ran into a soul-- our own private beach. Great privacy, you will need a car to get to nearby bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. Exceeded our expectations!

Amazing Property!!

We absolutely loved this property and the property manager was amazing to work with. We had a group of ten stay in the house (all adults), and there was plenty of room for all of us. The online pictures almost don't do justice as the views of the ocean are amazing. It's also on a very private area of the beach so you almost feel as though you have the whole beach to yourself. Can't wait to return!!

Ringing in 2024 with family

The house is amazing. You walk in the front door and the view takes your breath away!! The kitchen had everything for family meals and the ice maker was key to our cocktails being cold and plentiful!! The large family dining table was perfect for meals and our raucous game nights!! Jumped in the crystal clear waters at midnight to welcome in 2024. Time with family is so important to us and this was a special week for our clan!!

The view is breathtaking

This home could not be more perfect! Inside & outside, the space is used perfectly! The perfect modern beach feel! The outdoor space is just like having a living room outside in front of the clear blue ocean! Perfectly sized pool and so much outdoor space! Gorgeous beach access. Every water activity you can think of, they have at the home. The bedrooms all have their own on-suite so you get your privacy when needed. About a 20-30 minute trip to the marina for our 2 boat days which were AMAZING! This is truly paradise!! We did have a few home issues and management tried their to clear them up the best that they could but one was clearly out of their control. Their communication was excellent but we had to live with the issue for the 4 days sadly. We had a blast and avoided the area. We would absolutely stay again and stay longer because once you arrive, you never want leave!!!

Incredible location

I left a 5 star because the property truly is 5 star however there is active construction next door going on daily including weekends that will go on through at least May per the owners who we met. Hosts should have made us aware of that. Not a deal breaker-we went out daily and stayed at the water edge where we couldn’t hear the noise but it does start at 7:30am and on the master bedroom side. The other 4 bedrooms are on the other side of the property so not affected. We hired chefs each night with Vibe and DENADONUTS. They were amazing! Highly recommend as you won’t get a life beautiful view for dinner. This home is perfect for several couples or a larger family. It’s actually 2 units (upstairs 3bedrooms downstairs 2 bedrooms) with separate access to each. The extra living areas and kitchen areas are a great way to spread out. Last thing of note is that the beach is only there during low tide. We had access to the beach one day but the other days had the tide all the way up to the deck. This property gets you closest to the water for sure! It’s stunning.
