It's a heritage building so we can feel how the history past through the years and it's really fun, but it's kinda no so soundproof, so i can hear what my next room talk about 😅😅 while mostly were so good ☺️

Excellent location within Georgetown, 3 minutes walk to Komtar. Just next door to many restaurant and food stalls. Nice and friendly staff. Satisfactory washroom and room cleanliness and could be improves. E.g.: Room floor was not being mopped. Zero sound proof room. I stay at the ground floor and because the upper floor is wooden made, the sound of foot steps upstairs are loud and clear. But what to expect, its a budget stay after all. What's nice about the room is that the air-conditioner works well, and there is a fan as well. Recommended if you are on a budget travel.

ドミトリーに泊まりましたが、値段からしたら満足です。 部屋やトイレもきちんと掃除されていて、気持ち良く使えました。 ただ、ドアの側のベットだったので、開け閉めの時起きてしまったのが残念なのと、Wi-Fiが遅いです。

We booked 2 double rooms, our rooms are clean but my air con remote was broken and I already informed the girl at front counter but no action I got to borrow from my friend's room. For our rooms location need to claim upstaire and staire case very high Toilet a little bit dirty. They provide towel if you ask. The location very good next steamboat restuarant and street food just in front of the hotel. Nearby shopping mall just walking distance.Cheap and value

Penang epicentre

Place has a nostalgic feel. The reception person was nice and polite. The room is sufficient for (very) short stay. You get what you pay for so no complaints from my side. Just a bed with thin mattress and even thinner pillow. The pluses are the aircon is cold so in humid Malaysia, that's heaven sent. Situated on the ground flour, my room hasn't a window, so that may not appeal to everyone. The other major plus is it is right in the heart of Georgetown. So, almost everything. Is within reach. Step out and street hawkers are everywhere. Overall, suits younger traveller and short stay traveller. A plus on the balance.

Einfache Unterkunft mit nettem Personal

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und die Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Als störend habe ich die mobile Klimaanlage empfunden, die sehr laut war und alle 3 Stunden geleert werden musste. Auch die sanitären Einrichtungen waren sehr einfach aber im Großen und Ganzen sauber. Wer vor allem Wert auf eine günstige Unterkunft legt, ist hier gut untergebracht. Die Außentür ist verschlossen und im Haus befinden sich Kameras, so dass man sich immer sicher fühlt.

Not the best, but ok!

my stay was okay. the bed was so uncomfortable, the hostel need a good clean, not having an old lady to clean it. it need a good clean.showers need to be cleaned. just clean them don't know why this hostel doesn't have a cleaning team that will do a professional cleaning. but it wasn't that and it was OK! location amazing staff were so friendly. helpful
