Disappointed

On arrival thought the place was very good, easy checkin, friendly staff, decent sized room etc. Easy walk in the evening to Chullia St Hawker Stalls for a really good meal. All over the hotel there were signs about no noise after 10pm all was fine till 3am when the noise the door banging, running up & down the very old, very noisy stairwell this went on & off till 5am. We don’t expect complete quiet in a hotel at night & do realise people are on holidays but this was the worst I’d heard in many, many years of travelling, it was a shame as everything else was OK for the price. We had been discussing staying another three or four nights after our experience though we left at 7am…..we were going to speak to the manager but as no one was at reception, just dropped the key & left.

・宿のデザインが素敵。フロントのある本館は個室客用で、ドミトリーを予約すると道の向かいの別館に案内される。別館の一階はコモンスペース兼カフェになっていて居心地がいい。 ・スタッフは皆親切で、観光情報を教えてくれたりご飯に連れて行ってくれたりした。 ・タオルやロッカーが一人ひとつ用意されていて、どこもとても清潔。ベッドサイドにはUSBポートx2、マルチコンセント、ランプ付き。ブランケットがとてもいい匂いだった。防犯カメラも設置されているので安心。 ・洗濯乾燥機、自転車が有料だが使える。 ・大きなショッピングセンターやコンビニ、屋台のたくさんある通りがすぐ近くにあってとても立地がいい。夜は静か。 ・難点はwifiが遅い事ぐらい。 おススメです！

Rope Walk Guesthouse is one of the best places I've ever stayed at! It is top quality for such a good price. Everything about the space was very clean and tidy- the rooms, the bathrooms, cafe outdoor spaces, etc. The staff was so nice and attentive. I wish I knew all of their names, but I know Richard, who was so wonderful. I was constantly brought water and little candies while I was working. Everyone there and the owner is really kind and inviting. Their cafe space is so cozy and there are these little courtyard spaces outside that are peaceful. The bedroom and cafe space have air con, the wifi is great, but most of all, I really felt like the people there made me the happiest. Thank you all!
