"We could not have asked for a more perfect rental for our family of 23. We loved that it was in a peaceful farm setting away from the busy city. Kids and grandkids loved the gym and were constantly entertained. It is a short drive to the north shore. "

"This is a fun rambly rustic house great for large groups, but there were inaccuracies in the listing that were frustrating.The Good:Location - just 15 minutes from North Beach, 20 minutes to Minnetonka Cave. Yard - huge secluded grassy backyard with shade trees, a climbing tree, and a pavillion with firepit and tables.Plenty of Parking for 10-20 vehicles.Delicious, cold well water from kitchen sink as well as yard hydrant.Good water pressure throughout house, and ample hot water for downstairs showers.Public style men's and women's bathrooms provide plenty of toilets/urinals.Several electric griddles, lots of skillets, and a countertop roaster helped with big meals.The Bad:Contradictions in the listing made planning difficult. Listing claims to sleep 48 in one place, 39 in another. PDF of the floor plan didn't jive with the listing. When we arrived, some rooms had one less mattress or one more than the floorplan indicated. Two of the "bedrooms" (#6&7) upstairs don't have walls- beds in view of game room.Many beds were old, squeaky, & uncomfortable. Kitchen-NO DISHWASHER as indicated in listing amenities. Only 2 fridge/freezers not 3 as in listing.There is NO BAKEWARE (cookie sheets/cake pans) for oven use. Oven must be set to 500 to bake anything.The A/C is NOT central air: Two bedrooms have window AC units. Only 2 portable fans.Only 2 showers and one tub/shower in the whole place!BR with private bath & laundry had very little hot water."
