"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "We stayed here for two nights while visiting my mum in hospital. The location was good. From the outside, the hotel looks run down, and the car park to. Once inside its a lot better, clean, looked after and very friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom we had was a good size, a comfy bed though the pillows were a bit firm for me. The ensuite was big with a very good shower. The rooms are dated and could do with updating. The breakfast was lovely with good choices on the menu and it was free. Free parking as well which is a bonus. I would stay again if the need arises. "
