Very convenient! Clean. Friendly staff. Altitude staff very friendly and helpful.
Wished Starbucks opened earlier, would’ve liked to have taken a coffee on the road since it was such a cool morning.
Great location. Staff were all great. Only downfall was room was extremely hot in the night. One room controls multiple rooms on a thermostat so other people had to suffer as well. Staff were sympathetic.
The view from the lobby was awesome, but it’s actually accessible for non hotel guests too. The stay was a bit pricey but room condition was nice. Very convenient to attend those Glacier activities.
Can’t beat the glacier view from welcome hall. Both glacier tour and glass walk bridge tour for
Hotel guests were wet comfortable and great experience. Hotel staff was very helpful during our entire stay.

Liked: Staff & service
The hot water was not functioning at the beginning and black out for few minutes. Staff resolve the problems quickly.
Room very clean with Dyson fan and hair dryer. Excellent view in room, very convenient to go for Icefield bus station.
I absolutely love Glacier View Lodge. The views of the Athabasca Gracier from the lobby and restaurant are incredible. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the welcome complimentary cocktail and charcuterie board. We have breakfast and dinner at the onsite restaurant, Altitude, the food was delicious. I highly recommend Gracier View Lodge.
The Glacier View lodge is a very good option for people wanting to explore the Columbia Icefields area and the Icefields Parkway. Great views! I did think it was a little pricey for what you get (no room service available, only had two very small towels in the bathroom, ect.) For $600 a night I would expect better services and higher quality. Overall a pleasant stay, however.
Upon arrival we were upgraded to a Glacier view room the rooms are clean modern and the view is spectacular we were blessed with amazing weather. All staff went above a beyond and were very personable. I would definitely recommend for 1 night only as the dining options are not good. Avoid the Altitude at all costs. As you get a better view from the hotel lobby. They serve a charcuterie board a couple of drinks one Alcoholic and one alcohol free.
It was nice, great views. The food was also good, but could be better. Definitely not 5 or 4 star, but it could be one day. This place needs more activities for the guests like a private balcony with a bar, pool table and hot tub. We hiked the whole time we were there so it would have been nice to have some other dinner options or a kitchen or sinple stove top in the room would be nice. The only real downside I can think of is that there was a tick on my pillow as i walked into the room. I killed it but like.. kinda gross
