Clean, comfortable, nicely furnished room, with seating outside on a private patio. Beautiful grounds, trees and plants to enjoy. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed talking with the owner/host.

The Summit Lodge is a lovely property tucked away in the countryside outside Masterton. The gardens are idyllic, the rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, and the hosts, Renee and Kevin are wonderful. We would go out of our way to stay there again.

The hosts are great, the property very well maintained, the location was very quiet and located in some beautiful country. Great for a base for some nice country drives and wine and if you enjoy alpacas, they have them too.

Gladstone get away lodge

The room was luxury. The views, porch, lounge was spacious. The lodging was tucked away on an alpaca farm with fruit trees and an open sunny courtyard.

Lovely property with extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Amenities were top notch. Tracy prepared a fire in the fireplace, left fresh cookies out and generally added thoughtful touches at every turn. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

Amazing!

We were treated with dignity and respect. We felt lke royalty and the company and conversation was measured, balanced and convivial. A wonderful experince! Cannot recommend Summit Lodge highly enough.
