"The hotel was a funky vibe with great complimentary snacks and welcome beverage!! The location was perfect for us to walk down to waterfront. The room was modern and had a fun layout, we would only suggest more variety of comfortable pillows."
The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax

"Room was nice, pull out couch was terrible to sleep on, if you moved to the inside it would try and fold up on you. House keeping service lacked. We were gone from 830am until 3pm. Room wasn’t cleaned. They called and asked if we wanted our room cleaned, obviously we did. Left the room again at 4pm so they could complete cleaning. Restaurant Chop - save your money. Steak had no taste and was over cooked."

"The harbour view rooms are modern, comfortable with a great view including the little outdoor seating area. Excellent central location, walkable distance to all the downtown amenities. We love staying at the Delta, it’s become one of our favs when travelling to Halifax."

Commons Inn

"It doesn't get better for the price. The room was bright and moderately clean, there was a smart tv, the location is absolutely fantastic, and the staff are friendly and quiet. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance and Downtown Halifax / Halifax Commons is only a short walk or bus ride away. Irving/Circle K only 5 minutes away. I try to stay here everytime I am in the city. This hotel is great for Solo travellers."
