"This property was excellent and the bathroom was new and beautiful - we got a king bed room with a walk in shower plus a separate bathtub bathroom. Central driving to all tourist spots and parking right out the front of our room - Room 53."

"Matress could have been better and the Kitchen need 2 normal Breakfast/Dinner plate NOT bread and butter plate, so we would serve ourselves breakfast and fit it on the plates. The other thing i that the Fridge ha a glas front and is lit up bright. I reckon plenty of people would not like that for their sleep as it light up the whole room. We placed 2 towels over it. Mount Gambier is wonderful."

The Old Mount Gambier Gaol

"OK, so it's a real prison. And we were staying off-season, and by chance we were the only guests there that night... and the check-in was all automatic. So the whole thing was kind of surreal as we walked around the prison yard, reading the signs about historic prison life etc. You REALLY get the vibe of being in an old gaol, so don't stay there if you're going to get freaked out by things like that. Beds were comfortable, room had everything we needed, but again remember: prison vibe. On the other hand, if you want a really unique experience, this is for you. It's not just some generic hotel that could be anywhere in the world with no flavor. Met the owner the next morning, and he was a cool guy filled with interesting stories etc. He kind of got screwed over with the collapse in business because of Covid etc, so I know they could really use your support."

"Pet friendly with fully enclosed backyard covered with grass. Very comfortable home with everything on hand to make for an enjoyable stay. Great location with easy access to nearby attractions."
Mid City Motel - Mount Gambier

"This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier."

"Rooms were huge, lovely bath in bathroom as well. But the man at the reception was amazing. Had alot of information about places to see and recomendations and even went out of his way to get more for us. Would def recommend this place"
