"We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy, but the shower was very weak and kept falling forward so difficult to use. The pool is warm and usually nice but a large group of teenagers took over the pool and we had to leave as my daughter became anxious. Previously we have enjoyed the pool."

"The hotel was in quite a good position for us to walk to the centre. Parking was good. The ensuite was too small, with no room to hang a bath towel. I was pleased to see a fridge in the bedroom but I was disappointed in the breakfast. The hot breakfast was nicely cooked, but I think it is unusual in English hotels not to be offered any fruit or yogurt, which I missed, particularly on the days we chose to have a continental breakfast."

"I have stayed as this hotel many many time and never had problem, but this time the pillows was a little bit on the smelly side from over peoples swet and dribbling, made be buy some new ones. "

"No complaints at all about the property it was spotless and in a perfect location. Parking was secure and well organised. Our only compliant is that we checked out over a week ago and have still not received a refund of the deposit by bank transfer as promised even though we were informed it was being paid. We stay in a lot of holiday lets with refundable deposits and have never had to use a bank transfer system before. Using a credit card guarantee is in our view far better as bank transfers are cumbersome and cause extra work for both parties."

"When I checked in, I was given a room that was already occupied by someone. I walked into this room, using the key I was given and interrupted a couple who were asleep in the room. Not a good start. I was then given an alternative room, after further confusion. The second room was musty and slightly dirty and unclean. I have now returned from the stay and I am covered in bed bug bites, owing to the room I stayed in, despite my best efforts to limit contact with the linen. I have over 50 bites on my body. Do not book this property, despite its alluring affordable price. "

"Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground so did not use. "

"The communication with and from the host was fantastic, the check in instructions were clear and well put together. The property is very safe with a gated car park and your own space so no worry about losing your spot. The apartment was modern, well equipped and spotless. The location is what makes this such an appealing property, right on the quayside with shops, bars, coffee shops and restaurants within a 2-5 min walk. Saying that the apartment is tucked away just enough not to be disturbed by any noise and is extremely quiet so no problem getting a good nights sleep. I will certainly be booking again when next working in Gloucester. "

"Clean room, some peeling painter work but it is an old building. Very small car park behind, difficult to find spaces. As it’s a city centre hotel, there was a lot of noise all through the night and in the morning, so be prepared. "
