Cozy family cottage near Crystal Mountain on the Betsie River.

"This was the BEST place!! The pictures don’t do it justice for how nice, big, welcoming and cozy the cabin is! My family and I the whole time we were there kept saying “my gosh this place is so beautiful”. The kitchen was so well stocked with really nice pans and storage for food that you make! The main floor was perfect for hanging out. The whole porch area was our absolute favorite and they have the nicest rockers! Many extra towels and linens. We enjoyed every minute of being here! We travelled with a 1 year old and 3 year old and they had the time of their life!! The upstairs family room was perfect because it had rockers and enough room for a pack n play and air mattress plus the couch. It’s soo much bigger inside than you would think. The river is beautiful, pretty steep to get there - the stairs don’t go down all the way fyi, but was great for exploring and spending time down there. Great section of the river, we had a fun time in it. Also super convenient location for all the attractions too! We had the best week for our annual whole family vacation!! It was nice to come back to some seclusion after going out to town and just relax! We would definitely stay here again! We will cherish all the memories and pictures!"

"We had a great time! There was plenty of room for the six of us (5 adults, 1 child), with room to spare. The cabin was beautiful inside and the layout offered privacy yet had common areas for everyone to share (living room, basement with ping pong table, hot tub, and huge deck). The river was a quick walk down from the cabin and while we didn't catch any fish, they all had fun trying. Close to Upriver Pizza (our favorite pizza place), an hour out from Traverse City, and 40 minutes to Platt River Beach (our favorite beach)."

"We had a great stay at this adorable tiny home. The setting in amongst the trees really gave you that perfect vacation feeling. The bedroom was perfect for our family of four and everything was clean upon check in. The host was quick with communication and the house was stocked with what we needed. I would definitely return and recommend to others."

"This place on the Betsie River served us well. We enjoyed the screened porch right by the river and the puzzle! The house had everything we needed including fans. AC was available but wasn't needed. The Wi-Fi was very strong. Two of us were able to work remotely over several days. The house is nicely situated near a porch bakery, Baking Bad Habits, and a farm market store, Grossnickle Farms, not far down the road. We went to Crystal Mountain and St Ambrose nearby."

"This Bungalow has all the amenities you could need for a nice night out by a fire, a kayak ride down the river, a grilled steak, and a relaxing night in watching movies and playing games. Home is clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was seamless. Tom answered any questions I had and made sure we knew all the local places to check out. Would definitely be staying again."

"This property is a must stay! The house is well equipped for all ages and has space for even large groups. The owner provides kayaks for use, along with many other outdoor activities. The river access is easy and is shallow enough to enjoy wading or floating. It was perfect for our summer vacation but we could see how a winter getaway would be equally enjoyable!"

"Very beautiful and unique rental. Well stocked with everything we needed for our stay (besides food). We absolutely loved staying here. Very spacious; we had 10 people in our party and it never felt cramped. Even had family over for a cookout one day and there was still plenty of room. Great location. Not far from the Bear Lake or Lake Michigan. Would absolutely recommend staying here."
