Highlight: The view

Loved everything about it but the highlight of this place is definitely the view!!! Got to see the sunrise from the bed every morning and that's a win! It's also a calm neighbourhood/hotel which is perfect for good sleep :)

We stayed for 5 nights and walked down to Broadbeach restaurants most nights. Approximately 10 minutes. Great room with fantastic views of the ocean as promised. Very friendly staff, good pools, close to the beach and handy to all Broadbeach offers.

We wanted to completely chill out on our second stay at Ocean Royale. We loved the views, saw whales in distance, ocean sounds, the calmness of the place, and that it was a quiet and smaller apartment with lift. Easy walking distance to everywhere, and beach access was a few seconds walk. Stayed with my 10 year old for over a week, we swam, we spa'd and we sauna'd, every single day. Walking into Surfer's Paradise or walking the other way to Broadbeach was easy and 705 bus out front or short to walk to tram. Lots of places to dine, or order in. We will definitely visit again.

Would use them again

Loved our stay here. Only 1 negative is that it says pool towels are supplied. There was no mention of having to pay to use them. We were under the impression that the money we paid for the towel was a deposit to be told later no it's not a deposit. When you get 4 beach towels it ended up $20 out of pocket. Maybe should specify that a payment is needed

there were no saunas in either of the penthouse or down stairs and there was no rubish shutes. the place needs renovation and upkeep,do not advertise that the penthouse has a sauna when there is none available

A few issues that need attention. Shower rose needs cleaning, dryer full of lint (fire hazard), hot plate needs replacing (rusted and terrible condition), door to balcony near floor has plaster board damaged, ensuite door does not close. The redeeming factor is the view, but charging those rates I feel these issues should be addressed.
