"Room was good, lazy toilet and sink. Also very dated, needs to be upgraded soon. Carpets were really old and dusty. Apart from that staff and service was excellent 👍"

"The food was fantastic. I have stayed there on many ocassions with my family and it is great value for money and it's an easy bus ride (30 mins) into the heart of Edinburgh. Stayed over for 2 nights and spent a day in Edinburgh at the Christmas markets. If you are looking for a quiet spot outside the city with a swimming pool , amazing views and some homely luxury , with a Scottish Castle feeling then this is where to stay. Great hotel. "

Our rooms were lovely—very comfortable and beautifully designed. The location is unbeatable; we were right in the heart of everything and could easily walk to the Christmas market, the amazing shopping on George Street and Princes Street, and iconic spots like Victoria Street and the Royal Mile. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"
