Flintstone house is an exceptional property and spend a few days in it becomes a unique experience, from the sunny terraces you can enjoy spectacular views. This house is half a normal house and half a cave-house and also has private terraces.

Capacity for 8 people, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 4 double beds. Parking included.

It has air conditioning, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels included, a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, oven). The house is rented entirety, there are not shared areas.

From the house you can walk in the mornings through the picturesque streets of the Albaicín neighborhood and go to have breakfast at the typical cafes in Plaza Larga, and then come to enjoy the Mirador de San Nicolás and enjoy a privileged view of the Alhambra and the mountains. of Sierra Nevada. Also at lunch time you can go out for tapas in the nearby bars (tapas are free in Granada), go to a popular restaurant or another more select one around the Mirador de San Nicolás.

From the Albaicin itself towards the middle of the Cuesta del Chapiz you will find access to the great gypsy neighborhood of Sacromonte, being already beautiful throughout the day you will find it especially fascinating at night (especially weekends), its spectacular views It also has a lively nightlife that takes place in the form of flamenco shows performed in caves. In fact, this neighborhood is famous for its cave dwellings.

Continuing along the Cuesta del Chapiz and behind the Albaicín neighborhood you will see a bridge, crossing this you will find a path to your left and another straight ahead, take the one you see straight ahead and it will take you directly to the Alhambra (remember that the main path ' and easier part from Plaza Nueva) through a winding unpaved road that will take you back 500 years in History, it is absolutely recommended. If, on the other hand, you take the path to the left you will take a walk along the slope of the mountain where the Alhambra is located, you will enjoy unique views of the Albaicin and Sacromonte neighborhoods and towards the end of the route you will find a fountain with the to refresh you.

Oh my god. This place was SO COOL. If you want to experience the real, authentic Granada, this is the perfect place to stay. This Albaicin neighborhood is so quiet, and quaint, and beautiful, with winding streets and amazing views over the city. This apartment is beautiful, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a perfect visit. The bedrooms in this cave house are very comfy and cozy. The multi-level terraces are the perfect places to start your day with coffee, or end it with wine - and what a view! You might even get to pet a couple kitties up there if your lucky! I HIGHLY recommend using their preferred driver José the whole time you are there. I absolutely do not recommend driving your own vehicle to this place, as it is all very, VERY tight, narrow, winding, steep cobblestone streets. Trust me -- USE JOSÈ and thank me later. He is an expert with this very challenging streets, very friendly and knowledgeable, and speaks many languages very well. He will take you anywhere you want to go in the city, up and down those steep hills anytime for like 15-20 euros. WELL worth it. But this house is a true gem. We will definitely be back soon!!!

Perfect cave home in Albaicin

The most beautiful neighborhood in Granada is the Albaicin. This property is walking distance from the most beautiful pedestrian streets and thousands of years of history. Management provides paid parking close to the property and it’s really convenient to be able to get to the city center or La Alhambra. We visited in summer and the temperature inside the house was perfect even though Granada was at about 42 •C. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The views of Granada from the terrace are to die for.

Die Unterkunft ist es sehr besonderes mit seinen Höhlenzimmern. Selbst wenn es draußen sehr heiß ist, sind die Zimmer sehr kühl. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Terrasse hat einen tollen Blick über Granada. Die Wohnung ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß von der tollen Altstadt entfernt. Insgesamt alles sehr zum empfehlen, wir würden wieder kommen.

Loads of character great terrace

Wonderful apartment dug into the hill half of it is a cave which was cool ( temp and style) only minor issue it is high up a step hill with loads of cobbles nearest taxi drop off 5mi. Walk downhill- however this is minor and well worth it for the uniqueness of the apartment and magnificent terrace - would strongly recommend (as long as you are okay with steep hills)

Great spot in Albaicin

We had several wonderful days in Granada and staying at the “Fintstone” house was an important part of the charm of Granada. This house is a delight, nestled in the Sacromonte section of the Albaicin filled with winding streets and small tapas bars. The house really is cave like with a double tiered deck above the house with great views of the area. We had everything we needed and Samar was quick to respond to any question. Please include the Museo of the Sacromonte in your visit. It fills in lots of history. Don’t miss a Flamenco performance. The Bus at the top of the hill was an easy ride up and down if you don’t want to make the walk. The hills are steep but we are in our 70’s and 80’s so even able bodied old folks can do it. I would be happy for a return visit.

Unique and Beautiful

We loved the cave property. The house was clean, beautiful and fun for our family. Gorgeous views of the town. Nearby restaurants and a downhill walk to shopping and main area of Granada. Absolutely loved it!

Abitazione unica in posizione eccezionale

Posizionata in altura sopra la città molto vicina al centro. Struttura unica praticamente scavata nella collina. Un ambiente da sogno. Arredamento curato e perfettamente intonato all'ambiente. Dotazioni assolutamente eccezionali, non manca niente. Parcheggio incluso poco distante dove si dimentica l'auto per tutto il soggiorno.. Addetto gentile e disponibile nonostante fosse Natale. Una esperienza indimenticabile!! Assolutamente consigliabile. Fabio

Great to be in the warm cave in the cold November days

Great care was taken in making certain that we had the correct contact information. The large parking lot at the school close by is very convenient if you come by car. The view from the terrace is fantastic. And it is really nice and quiet inside the cave. In the summer it must be great to be in the cool cave. Highly recommended.

Super bloody awesome

Staying here was a once in a lifetime experience. The place was straight out of a hobbit movie and very comfortable, the view from the terrace was stunning, the neighborhood was charming, there were many friendly dogs and cats around, our host was extremely attentive and our stay was absolutely perfect. We loved it so much!

Lovely and cosy

Very quiet comfortable and warm and well set up for our family of four. We slept very well. Samar & Hatha were very helpful. Albaicín is full of character & quiet with fantastic views and the view from the terrace is fantastic Be warned there is a steep cobbled walk to the house & is not recommend for the elderly & large suitcases

Unusual property with great views.

We loved the quirkiness of this property. Not very often you get to sleep in a cave. It has been done out really nice. No air con in bedrooms, only in sitting area and we were a bit hot in night. But we would stay here again.

Unique property with amazing view!

We loved this apartment in the Albayzin in Granada. The views are gorgeous and while the apartment is a cave, it has all the amenities you could want. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spotless. The Wifi works best in the kitchen and living room. Being in the Albayzin is a great location and it is so much fun to explore the windy streets while all of a sudden having an amazing view of the Alhambra. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was one of the most unique! We enjoyed every minute and thank Haitha for her help getting settled! Wonderful!

Cave house perfect for a short stay in Granada

The cave house was a great place to stay while visiting Granada in December 2016. The house is located in the Albaicin area of Granada very close to the Mirador de San Cristobal, with great views down to the city and across to the Alhambra. The house has a conventional brick frontage which contains the kitchen/diner, but then you enter the cave section, which includes 2 bedrooms, a lounge room with an additional bed, and the bathroom. We had never stayed in a cave before, but thoroughly enjoyed this one - rustic, comfortable, warm in winter, and very quiet and dark at night. Albaicin is the old part of city, on a steep hill, full of narrow cobbled streets with small houses, shops, bars and restaurants. Samar is a real enthusiast for Albaicin and will give you all the local information you need to enjoy your stay.

Appartement très agréable grâce à la fraicheur si convoitée en ce mois d'aout. beaucoup d'espace pour 4 et ensemble cosy. Accueil très sympa de Samar qui nous a donné pleins d'informations pratiques. Accès très facile à pied vers les commerces et restaurants : il ne faut d'ailleurs pas hésiter à se perdre dans toutes ces jolies petites rues, de jour comme de nuit ! et si vos jambes faiblissent un peu, il y a toujours un bus navette qui viendra à votre secours. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, idéale pour découvrir tous les trésors de Grenade !

Erlebnis Höhlenwohnung mit Panoramablick

Die Wohnung - vorderer Teil ein Gebäude mit Wohnküche, rückwärtiger Teil mehrere kühle Höhlen, je für Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer und Bad, im zweiten Obergeschoss eine Panoramaterrasse - entsprach den Inseratangaben. Sie war sauber und gepflegt sowie gut ausgestattet. Empfang und Aufnahme waren sehr freundlich und instruktiv. In etwa 5 - 10 Minuten Fußwegentfernung befinden sich Läden, Bäckerei und Restaurants ( Richtung Mirador San Nicolas ), etwa 5 Minuten oberhalb des Hauses Bushaltestelle und Taxianfahrt. Die Ferienwohnung empfehlen wir gern weiter.
