We absolutely loved this hotel and our stay here. it is full of history and the area is beautiful. The room were clean. And the food at the restaurant was delicious! We enjoyed our visit here
The staff was phenomenal. We stayed only one night, and my husband forgot to take his suit out of the closet when we checked out. Upon discovering this when we got home (5 hours later), we called and spoke to the manager who arranged to have it returned to us by mail. They were simply wonderful.
This was a wonderful little hotel. Be aware that the front desk is in an old house, while the rooms are in a motel-type building half a block away. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast (which was half off with the room) was delicious.
This was a great first experience. Smooth check in/check out, the motel parking was convenient to unpack, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend!
I stayed in the hotel section-not the historic building. I realized that the historic rooms only have a claw foot tub and you must share a public shower. I wasn't up for that on this trip, but maybe in the future. My stay in the hotel was fine. The room was basic and clean. It had a comfortable feel to it.
I stayed in the hotel--not the historic building. The room was clean. It felt like being in grandma's house. I don't say that to be critical. It had a bit of a cozy feel with the quilt type bed covering. It was great to have a restaurant on the premises. The food was great. I could walk to a bank, convenience store for hot tea. One night the siren at the Rescue Squad next door went off, but it wasn't bad. I'd stay here again.
