"Five adults stayed at this wonderful home on the sound. Fabulous views from the back deck ! Many a cup of coffee before the beach was spent there watching seabirds play. Chairs were comfortable up there, but it would be even better with at least one more big chair.The house was well equipped. Everything is there that you need to cook indoors. We usually grill, and the charcoal grill was broken. I messaged the owner and she graciously offered to pay for another grill from the ace hardware. The gas grill, although small, was there too so we just used that. We highly recommend sunrise fish company at the top of harbor road.... fabulous selection.The kitchen had big mugs for cold drinks. I wish there were more ice cube trays, as we went through a lot of ice!We used the circle table for games each night. Oh, the laughs we shared! The fresh rosemary in the jar was a nice touch.The house was spotless and very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom in the 2nd floor with the king bed needs a shower head repair, but still able to use . The bathroom towels were nice, and not those icky white scratchy ones rentals usually provide. The hot tub was fantastic! It was a bit sandy, but we are at the beach!The bikes you provided were fun to use. Two of us would ride for ice cream or coffee or to avon pier. We also made use of the yellow kayak, one fishing pole and one boogie board. Thank you for this ! Nc of rough surf, we drove to Frisco Beaches. Very nice!"

"House was charming and cozy. Check in process was very smooth. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Kitchen very well stocked with everything we needed. The location was just steps from the beach and the views were stunning! Brenda was very responsive beginning the day we booked the vacation until we left. Wish we could have stayed another week. We’re looking forward to returning next year!!"
"The condo was welcoming and accommodating. We welcomed our time at the pleasant pool and enjoyed the water. Close to main attractions We would stay there again. Morning we left we had a dead battery and one of the folks there got up and jumped our car off. What a Godsend and blessing. People living there are awesome. "
"This was just a great place to stay! Very convenient (and walkable) to lots of places to eat. Rooms were clean and simple and perfect. The whole property was clean and well kept. The staff we met, Billy and Braedon, were very friendly and helpful and provided us with loads of information—guiding us to come back!! The other staff in the office were super friendly and helpful too. We are so glad life afforded us to come to Avon and stay at the Avon Motel!! "

"Eastwind is wonderfully comfortable! My 3 generation group of 11 had more than enough space…..big bonus for us was the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom.Living room, dining room, and kitchen are open to one another…..great for a large group.House, parking areas, and private pier all clean and in good condition. Outdoor shower was clean and nicely put together.We cooked our dinners every night, we baked, we all ate together……and we found all utensils and kitchen equipment that we needed, and it was all in good condition!!!Location is great……less than 5 minutes from the house to the front door of the Avon Pier, about 10 to Food Lion.We spent the vast majority of our time on the pier or in/on the sound (4 kayaks and many life vests provided!!). Caught some crabs by the pier.Had 1 minor issue during our stay. Called Betty (property manager) and someone was at the house to fix it in a matter of hours. Very responsive to multiple questions prior to check-in as well.One of the best houses we’ve rented over the past 17 years."
