"I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

Modern Country Home with Pool, Hot Tubs & Fire Pit - close to wineries & beach

"This property is amazing! Highly recommended to large groups who want to spend time together, but also be able to have privacy.The bedroom/bathroom set up makes it easy for families to have privacy. While the common areas are thoughtfully set up to allow groups to spend time together. Dining is set up for everyone to eat meals together, large game room, and backyard are set up for everyone to have a place to hang out. If you are looking to make meals for a large group, the prep kitchen in the back gives all the counter space and storage you could need. The extra stoves and fridges were very helpful when feeding 30 people. There’s lots to do nearby, but you actually never need to leave the property because it has so much. Would highly recommend"

My husband and I and our friends were pleased and very much enjoyed our stay here. Our only regret was not getting to meet Mike and Lisa personally. Highly recommend the Shire."

"Property and cleanliness was fantastic! Loved the view of the water, spaciousness, and seeing wild life we hadn't seen before. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The Simpsons arcade and pool table were a big bonus and very entertaining. The only thing I would suggest to others that stay is that if you plan on making your own meals, to be prepared to get spices (besides salt and pepper), cooking spray, foil, and a can opener as there aren't any available. We will definitely consider returning here if it is available during our next trip to Michigan!"

"Everything was just as expected, nice home, everything was clean and comfy! The only thing we had troubles with was getting there as it states its on S. Chapin rd and its E.Chapin rd which is 17 minutes away but no biggie! Thank you we would do it again! "

"This was a decent place to stay for myself and two of my sons while we were in the area for a Notre Dame football game. Some body soap and more shampoo in the shower would have been nice, but it was good enough for us for two nights. I assume the house is on well water, as the shower and sink put off an unpleasant smell, but that's probably our only complaint. The host was very responsive and even agreed to my last-minute, late checkout request."
