"Loved this hotel! The location was perfect for our adventure. Right across from the Scott monument, a few minutes walk from the Waverly bus stop and a few minutes from the Royal mile. We didn’t have any views personally, but the rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. Breakfast options were delicious. Would definitely recommend!"

I believe the hotel is going through a refurbishment and it really does need it.
We were in a superior family room in a separate building across the car park/front of the hotel which doesn’t have a bar or restaurant. You have to order room service or walk back to the main building for food or drinks.
