Very Good

We checked in at 10am and received our key. The room was clean and dated. The bathroom although clean definitely needed a makeover.
The location to our event was excellent.
Calabogie peaks resort was 5 minutes down the road. Stores, food places and trails close proximity. My dad and I were in Calabogie for the annual snowmobile races and got lucky with the last room available. Spacious, cute environment, clean, and the man running the place and front desk was so kind. Definitely will be our spot to stay every year moving forward, can’t beat the price.

This is a clean motel with very friendly staff, easy check in and out and within walking distance of the Calabogie Brewery and Redneck Bistro - both excellent. The beds we slept in are a little tired and the property is next to a dry land marine on the highway, so it’s not a destination hotel but is good value.
It is a quiet little humble motel. The staff was very kind and responsive to our needs. They also have StarLink internet at over 100 mbps, while cellular and other wifi is 10 or less.
Perfect lodgings for attending a wedding at Barnet beach. Clean as a whistle. No-Hassle check in. Nice fridge and microwave in room. Top shelf as far as basic accomodation goes.
very clean -
Suggestions could include coffee maker in room.
It was very nice clean, close to he facility we were attending, exceptionally friendly, helpful and concerned service.
This small motel seems to be well run. Nothing fancy but it had a good bed, clean linens, and minor extras like a microwave and kettle. Not sure how soundproof the walls are but we had quiet neighbours! The heating unit was a bit noisy but didn't interfere with sleep at all.
Very clean and comfortable room. Very nice and accommodating staff. The room was equipped with a small fridge/freezer and kettle for tea. Very quiet and cute. Renovated bathroom with comfortable beds. The only issue was the a/c smelled a bit musty but we didn't need it and were happy to leave the window open. We would definitely stay again
Everything was in order with an easy check in and the room was as expected. It would have been nice to have had the heating on for a while before arrival as it took some time for the room to get warm. Also, there was a property wide problem with the satellite so TV couldn't be accessed (would have used at night) which we discovered and reported to the front desk. Staff was very responsive and tried to get it working and then called for a service technician. Unfortunately that would be until the next day after we had checked out. WIFI was slow but adequate allowing us to use our own personnel devices
We reserved this hotel due to 9/10 ratings on Hotels.com. Not expecting turn down service or plush bathrobe, but a clean well run motel.
What we found was a bathroom that smelled mildewy. When we ran the bathroom fan to ventilate, it sucked the air from the adjoining room, and we could smell their smoke under the door. I question fire safety in this case.
The walls were thin and our next door neighbours talked loudly until the late hours and kept us up. We even heard them have sex!
In the morning there was hot water for the shower for only 2 minutes then it turned cold. My husband phoned the office to tell them and they were not interested. Told him I turned the handle the wrong way. That was impossible with this shower. It goes from off to cold to hot all in one direction. I had to finish my shower with cold water. Then on checkout the office tried to shut me down by telling me everyone had hot water (except me??)
Also only instant coffee available. But water had a sulfurous odor and precipitated large white flakes of calcium in the kettle. Instant coffee curdled in the cup.
In summary this hotel did not meet basic needs for a good nights sleep and personal hygiene.
Nice & clean, but somewhat dated. Water pressure was variable, and parking lot is gravel. Top marks for staff & cleanliness, but it is an older facility.
